Just a reminder! I’m spending the week teaching at the annual Safe Piercing Summer Camp by the Association of Professional Piercers. I’m additionally honored to be returning as the official camp photographer and beyond excited for our magical week in the woods!

Our resident MVP, @alexpokes, will be handling all services at @clementinepiercing on Friday and Saturday (16th & 17th) while I’m away. We will be closed Sunday and Monday with normal operations resuming Tuesday, the 20th!

LET’S GO LADIES! 🏆🏆 Taking a moment to celebrate @kristinapenickova and @annikapenickova for their 1st place victory in Girls Doubles at the 2026 @usopen! This wasn’t the only gold these young women took home the this week — the twins came by for a pair of new ear lobe piercings with cute 14k gold jewelry from @emberbodyjewelry by both @alexpokes and @johnnypearce.
Last year they won 1st place in the 2025 Australian Open, and with this year proving themselves the champions of the 2026 US Open - we cannot wait to see what world match they dominate next!

About our gallery and lounge:

These vintage Rose-Cut Cabochon jewelry cases previously belonged to Legendary Tattooer Huck Spalding and sat in his own studio. Currently they house incredible 14k gold jewelry from our friends at @emberbodyjewelry

The tubes that power our Dynaco ST-70 came from Les Paul’s personal studio. Yeah, THAT Les Paul.

The vibe is carried by two Tannoy 12” Gold Drivers in original Mallorcan Cabinets from 1969 - Genuine Hi-fi that creates sound you’ll swear that can almost touch.

Every armchair and side chair is an authentic Eames (Gen 1-3), some dating back to the earliest production models (rope edge early 🤓).

And soooo much more!

We’ll try our best to post one new room a week, but ya’ll just keep us so busy with walk-ins, we can (thankfully) rarely find the time 🙏❤️

My 2024 Eclipse photo.
A final composite of 32 images taken from 3 different cameras across 5 hours. We chased the clear weather from Brooklyn to the corner of the Vermont and Canadian border for this shot. It was absolutely worth it. Totality was one of the craziest things to experience - you dont have to subscribe to the “woo woo” to feel that energy exchange. Shoutout to @themidnightofficial for the perfect soundtrack to every adventure.
