Hamza’s African Birds of Prey. I’ve been waiting my entire life to be able to capture some of the birds that are on this documentary. My team and I travelled to Kenya to capture these majestic birds. I was speechless when I saw some of these, but I was filled with happiness and hope once I learned about the people who look after these impressive birds. I hope you enjoy these birds as much as my team and I did.

As always, I could not have done this documentary without my dedicated and beloved team, starting off, with no particular order. I would like to thank my director Laura @lauramary for all of her hard work and dedication and guidance. Jacob Parish @jacob_parish_dop who is my cameraman and extraordinary editor, and most importantly, makes me look good on camera! My right-hand man, Johnny Rolt @johnnyrolt who covers my back and helped to bring so many beautiful shots to the film. Big man Jahlani @jahlaniclarence my sound man for always keeping “an ear” on me. My wonderful researcher/African sister/problem solver Pauline @pauline_kyalo. And our four wonderful Uber drivers also known as specialist filming drivers and Safari guides Extraordinaires; Wickliffe Odera @wickliffe_odera, Stanley Kinyolo, Paul Njubi and Evans Aduma without whom this documentary could not be done.

It is the final episode of Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles. Winter has finally arrived. I get the opportunity to film some incredible wildlife, I get to use some of the latest military equipment (that is now permitted for civilians) whilst catching up with some old friends, and making new ones too. Best of all I manage to film an elusive bird with my best mate @james__shooter in the #Cairngorms.

I hope you enjoy watching the episode as much as I enjoyed filming it. I could not have done it without my hard-working team, and here’s to the next adventure together! So thank you very much, @silverback_films @nationaltrust @theopenuniversity @bootlejack @dmltalent @lauramary

Tune in to BBC One tonight at 6:15pm and you can also catch the rest of the episodes on @bbciplayer

It’s the 3rd episode of Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles. In this episode; Autumn has arrived and I am on the lookout for a group of animals - some of which I have never seen before. I meet new people and make life long friends. I also film a kingfisher for the very first time (yes I know, I have never seen one before)! I travel to meet a Zombie spider in Northern Ireland and film leaping tuna in Devon. I even witness glow in the dark fungi, it was amazing. As usual I am with my wonderful team whom without there hard work, this program could not happen. You can catch up on the first two episodes of this series on @bbciplayer

What a privilege it has been to be part of this beautiful project. A story about love and friendship that is so pure and heart warming that my heart swells every time I think about it.
The same goes for the team involved. My adopted parents and glorious stars, Billy and Susan; Brother, mentor and Director @chamiltonjames; Producer @jjwilsonphoto, Production manager Stacey Hill; and everyone else who made this unforgettable film happen. By @silverback_films for @natgeo and premiering at @sxsw film festival next month. Mad. by @hamzayassin90

Today and for the next two weeks, Callum MC, Adam Hughes and I embark on a completely ridiculous and likely the toughest challenge any of us have ever done. We are cycling from Land’s End to John o’groats - dressed up as characters from Shrek.
This is in memory of one of our oldest and dearest friends, Max, who passed away last year. His final weeks were spent in St. Peter’s Hospice where he was looked after with the utmost care and kindness.
Our trip is to raise money for this incredible institution as they rely on 78% of their funding from the community and fundraisers like this.

If you think this is a worthy cause, please follow the link in my bio and give whatever you can. If not, then please spare a thought for us each morning as we don our outfits and apply body paint to each other over breakfast! by @hamzayassin90

After three all-consuming months and a lot of extremely long days, I am hugely relieved to see her in the water.
This is ‘Annie’, a bespoke 12’ currach that Erika and I have built for the upcoming season on Handa.
She is named after two of the most important women in my life; my granny and my sister. Both of whom I draw huge inspiration and awe from and love greatly.
