Welcome to homeownership!

I met John and Lawrence a few years ago when I was helping John’s sister Katherine look for her first home.

John got LOTS of experience then so when it was time for him and Lawrence to start looking he was a pro.

This time around it was a very different market, especially for condos.

This is not your typical “we looked for 6 months before we found the one” posts. Instead, we started with our “get your feet wet” weekend and saw a few places. The first condo we saw was just what they wanted but were hesitant bc it was the first place we had walked into.

It had been on for a few months and we couldn’t really tell why. We chalked it up to the number of stairs it had but agreed that if it was still on the next weekend when Lawrence could take a look we would think more seriously about it.

Well, sure enough, next weekend rolled around and it was still available. We added it to our showing list and this time they had both decided that this was the one!

It had everything they wanted and in a great location for both of them. The best part- because it had been on for a while I was able to negotiate at large seller credit to buy down their interest rate, which saved them hundreds on their first couple years of mortgage payments!

Goes to show you that sometimes “the one” is the first one you see!

Congratulations John and Lawrence! I hope Blythe likes her new windows!!

Still feeling the love from last night!Thanks to everyone who came out to officially celebrate our engagement! The amount of pink flowers, laughter, and champagne that filled the room was next level. Major shout out to our waspy princesses @missbiz and @korenashley for putting this all together. We don't even know where to begin to thank you for everything!
