Bit of a latergram here, but last month I got to take a short trip to Tokyo for @craftsakeweek .

While I was in town, I was lucky enough to be able to catch up with @marimarimo125 at her wonderful @eureka.sake BBQ (thank you @yasuto_taguchi !), drop in on @_katahage for a surprise visit to Shampoo, and stroll around the Nihonbashi Sake Tasting Walk with @harald.deropp

🎙 America’s first sake podcast, @sakerevolutionpod, is going LIVE with hosts John & Timothy in front of a studio audience (that’s you!).

Special guest Byron Stithem of @propersake_ricevice is coming up from Nashville and bringing sakes for us to taste. You’ll sip, laugh, and even get the chance to ask your questions live!

The Taproom will be open before and after the show, so grab a snack, pour another glass, and hang out with fellow sake fans.

Join us on SAKE DAY, Wednesday October 1st at 6PM, for a LIVE studio audience recording of America’s first sake podcast: @sakerevolutionpod !

Your hosts John and Timothy will be live and in person at the Brooklyn Kura Taproom and invite you to join in to sip sake, laugh, and learn a thing or two.

For this Sake Day episode, we’ll be interviewing the master sake brewer of @propersake_ricevice , Byron Stithem, who is coming up from Nashville and bringing two sakes for us all to taste. In addition, audience members will be able to submit questions to be answered live during the event!

The Taproom will be open before and after the recording for guests to hang out, meet our special guest and purchase additional sake and snacks.
