Countdown to the Crown Day 7: FAIR FAVORITES!!!! Throwing it back to my senior year of high school when I took my senior pictures with my best friends at the fair!๐ŸŽก๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ There is so much more to our fair than what meets the eye, and one of my favorite things about fair season is getting to experience every little piece of it! From the excitement of the pageants and the rides lighting up the night to the delicious fair food, livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, local vendors, entertainment, competitions, and the incredible people who work behind the scenes to bring it all together, every part plays a role in making the fair what it is. Our fair is a place where traditions are carried on, memories are made, hard work is celebrated, and people from all walks of life come together to enjoy something special. Itโ€™s about the families who make it an annual tradition, the exhibitors who spend countless hours preparing, the vendors who bring something unique, the volunteers who make everything possible, and the community that continues to support it year after year. I cannot wait to bring a little of the Johnson County Fair to STATE!! ๐ŸŽก๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Countdown to the Crown: Day 7 โ€” Fair Favorites! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’— Give me a foot-long corn dog, a funnel cake, and a ride on the Ferris wheel, and Iโ€™m one happy girl! ๐ŸŒญ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŽก๐Ÿ˜‚ Your girl does NOT do spinning rides! ๐Ÿ’• Whoโ€™s ready for fair food, fun, and making memories?! HIDDEN TALENT!!! #countdowntothecrown #arstatefair #missarkansasstatefair #hiddentalent by @johnsoncountyfairqueens
โœจ๐Ÿ‘‘ Countdown to the Crown: Day 6 โ€” Hidden Talent! ๐Ÿ‘‘โœจ Surprise! ๐Ÿ’— Today is all about showing off a hidden talent, skill, or fun activity that makes YOU, YOU! Whether itโ€™s cheerleading, getting creative, writing or stepping outside my comfort zone, I love finding ways to express myself and try new things! ๐ŸŽ€โœจ One of my hidden talents is being a cheerleader AND an incredible writer! ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ’— During my seventh-grade year, I experienced a really bad injury that changed my ability to dance and perform to my full capacity. Although it was difficult to adjust to, that experience led me to discover another passion of mine: writing. ๐Ÿ“โœจ I began writing my own stories and inspirational speeches, using my experiences, emotions, and the challenges Iโ€™ve faced to encourage others. Over time, that passion grew into creating my own spoken-word pieces, allowing me to turn my words into something meaningful and powerful. One of my favorite ways to express this is through my spoken word, HERstory: Invisible No More. ๐Ÿ’• Cheerleading has continued to be a huge part of who I am, but writing has given me another way to share my voice, tell stories that matter, and inspire others. My journey has taught me that sometimes, when life takes us down a different path, we discover gifts we never knew we had. โœจ Iโ€™m so grateful that I can use both my voice and my passion to make a difference, and I hope my words remind someone that their story is worth telling, too. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ by @johnsoncountyfairqueens

๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™ COUNTDOWN TO THE CROWN โ€” DAY 5: ARKANSAS PRIDE! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™ Thereโ€™s no place quite like HOME! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ‘ Today, for Arkansas Pride, Iโ€™m celebrating the place that helped shape me into the young woman I am today โ€” Clarksville, Arkansas, and beautiful Johnson County! From the colorful mural in downtown Clarksville that celebrates our community and its history to the historic downtown buildings that remind us of generations past, there is so much to be proud of right here in our little corner of Arkansas! โค๏ธ And, of course, we canโ€™t talk about Johnson County without mentioning our beloved Johnson County Peach Festival! ๐Ÿ‘ With roots dating back to 1938, this special tradition celebrates our agricultural heritage, local businesses, community spirit, and the memories that bring generations together year after year. Growing up in this community and being involved in our local fair and pageant has taught me that hometown pride is about so much more than where you live. Itโ€™s about the traditions we carry on, the people who support us, and the love we have for the place we call home. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป I am SO proud to represent Clarksville and Johnson County as your Junior Miss Johnson County Fair, and I cannot wait to bring a little Johnson County peach pride to the Arkansas State Fair! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘ Small-town roots, big dreams, and a whole lot of Arkansas pride! โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™ Junior Miss Johnson County Fair Abigail Cotton #ArkansasPride #JohnsonCountyPeachFestival #ClarksvilleArkansas #JuniorMissJohnsonCountyFair by @johnsoncountyfairqueens
COUNTDOWN TO THE CROWN DAY 5: Arkansas Pride!!! Clarksville Arkansas!!!!!! My hometown and the heartbeat of Johnson County๐Ÿฉท What better way to celebrate my hometown and its history than with this mural!!! Located in downtown Clarksville, this mural painted by Ken Pennington takes you through all of the things that make my Clarksville so special ๐Ÿ’• 1. The banner across the top reads โ€œHistoric Clarksville, Arkansasโ€ and โ€œEst. 1836,โ€ highlighting the communityโ€™s long history! 2. The steam locomotive is a reminder of the importance of railroads in connecting communities and transporting people and goods 3. The waterfalls, wooded hills, and flowing water reflect the natural landscape associated with northwestern Arkansas and the Ozark region 4. The peaches painted in the upper-right corner connect with Johnson Countyโ€™s agricultural identity and its well-known Peach Festival, a community tradition that began in 1938 Iโ€™m sure I am missing so much more, but maybe you could help me look! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Take a peek at the last slide and see how many things you can find in the mural!! Iโ€™ll be waiting to see your comments below ๐Ÿ˜ 8 MORE DAYS!!!!๐ŸŽ ๐ŸŽก๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ See yโ€™all there!! Miss Johnson County Fair Paige Banning by @johnsoncountyfairqueens
