PACIFIC ISLANDERS IN STEM 🧪🧬🌴Didn’t know when I received the opportunity this summer to do research that I would also gain another family.

I’m so grateful for the Haumana ‘O Pasifika program at the University of Utah for bringing together 14 incredible Pacific Islander undergraduate scholars represented across 10 universities throughout the U.S.

We are the future healthcare providers, researchers, and scientists to represent our Pacific Islanders here in the diaspora and our our islands in the Pacifc. What a privilege. Special shoutout to my mentors at the University of Utah School of Dentistry for generously taking me under and helping me on my path to becoming a dentist.🦷
