Finally visited #warhammerworld at the end of 2025 for the first time! Wargaming has been a huge part of my life so here's to an even better 2026! #warhammercommunity by @johnthephysicist

Another post for #newyearnewarmy and its some #sylvaneth! I love the kurnoth hunters models and am trying to stick pretty close to the established theme. The bases are very overgrown and serve to add some colour to an otherwise brown model. I want another 3 all with bows to round out the force.

Making some progress on #newyearnewarmy already and this year, I'm doing 2! Starting with the lady of Lorien herself, Galadriel from #mesbg by @warhammerofficial! A beautiful model to paint but with some very simple steps!

Christmas boardgame haul!

Apiary by @stonemaiergames is a great game! We loved the theme and the worker placement/worker bumping is very intuitive. Replayability is provided by many different setups, different ways of scoring points and different ways of generating resources through "dances". The first turn or two takes a while but then flows very quickly.

Lord of the Rings LCG by @fantasyflightgames is a classic which we hadn't gotten round to trying. We are looking forward to building the 2 player decks but have so far played the first scenario. The teach is best done during play as 7 phases feels like a lot all at once. Examples will naturally arise through the course of the game so just stick with it. Really sticks the theme with quotes from the books.

First Martians by Portal Games is one we haven't tried yet. Excited to crack it out as the quality looks good and we both loved The Martian movie and books!

These are some of the best brownies I have ever made, based on the 100 hour brownie recipe by
@alvin.zhou They are so fudgy and delicious but still with the papery top.

Doing a little painting challenge with some friends to try and get a 40k army painted so I dug out the Indomitus Necrons from 9th edition! The first week was a character for the army so I painted an overlord and a normal lord in Nikailh dynasty colours.

So we bought the Clone Wars starter for Star Wars Legion on Monday and between got the whole thing painted by Friday afternoon in addition to a couple of extra characters to complete the lists to 500 point skirmish lists!

Heroes painted by @jasmineabgannaway and they look amazing! More pictures to follow!

Started a fun little project, some 15mm teeny tiny teutons! These will be some of the hearthguars for a Saga Age of Crusades Crusader army! I already have started on some terrain for them to fight over so it should be good going! The sculpts are by @medburyminiatures
which i printed at 50% scale.
