Introducing [P L U M], a concept defined by me and created by @_gpack to help tell the story of a simple object that came to represent a familial bond. This transformation of the @Off___White c/o @Nike “Lot 07” Dunk Low by @virgilabloh to the Japanese Plum Tree Dunk is just something I just had to share with the world 🌎 ✨. Although Virgil is no longer physically here with us, his influence and creativity continue to inspire people today. I can only hope this edit of the Dunk Low makes him smile from above.With that said, in celebration of [P L U M] I have made monetary donations to the Anacostia Arts Center in Washington DC, the Virgil Abloh™ “POST-MODERN” Scholarship Fund, and the American Cancer Society in memory of Virgil to do my part in supporting the Black creatives that aspire to be like Virgil and support those battling cancer. #offwhitedunkedit #offwhitedunklow #nike by @johnworkhard1

I never liked the number 13 so just add 0.1 🫡 The EASY truth: Running a half is a great experience and it’s really fun. You meet people that are supportive and fun. Crossing the finish line is a great accomplishment and it makes it all worth it.The HARD truth: MOST training runs you’ll be alone. MOST days start early and you have to find the will power to keep going even when life gets in the way. There’s cold, rain, and wind. There a setbacks physically and mentally that make you question your goals. So to anyone saying they’d never run a half marathon, I’m here to tell you that I’ve said that before and I’m proof that you can. Mindset is powerful tool and got me through 5 of these things. When the fatigue sets in just keep putting one foot in front of the other and repeat Philippians 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.Shoutout to my personal cheerleaders who surprised me and supported me on the course today @_jessiicaa_ @janyamae @thecoachgreg and @ instagramless AD.Next stop, 26.2 in October ✌🏿 by @johnworkhard1

“Aura” will now be referred to as “je ne sais quoi” 🇫🇷 Honeymooning in the South of France ♥️But fr truly a huge shoutout and thank you to @iwannagosomewhereee for planning me and my wife’s PERFECT honeymoon. From the beginning they were attentive to our vision for the trip and responsive to any questions we had. We planned our own wedding so leaving all the honeymoon planning to them was the best decision ever. The itinerary they created was better than we could have ever imagined and checked all the boxes we put forth with regards to accommodations, activities, and budget. There was never a time we felt uneasy or confused even in a country we don’t speak the language. They put in the work to make this trip special and every single one of our activities had a special surprise waiting for us to celebrate our new marriage, most notably the incredible VIP treatment we received at @chevalblancsttropez . As a self declared planner and someone who feels like I can handle ever little detail myself, I was truly humbled by the job they did for our trip. So I’ll say to anyone that is planning their honeymoon, family trip, friend group trip, or solo trip; make it truly unforgettable by contacting @iwannagosomewhereee because they’ll make it as close to perfect as perfect gets. by @johnworkhard1
