A bit late with this, but I’m delighted to share that I have been selected for this year's edition of Screen Ireland’s flagship writing talent development programme, Spotlight.

Under the scheme, my folk horror project Rinka will receive development funding and Screen Ireland mentorship, culminating in an industry-ready pilot and series bible.

Really looking forward to getting stuck in and working with such a talented group of writers, congratulations to all the selected projects. by @johnyowen

Delighted to share the official trailer for The Last Set.

This project was made possible by the passion and hard work of a wonderful group of artists and collaborators. I'm so excited for everyone to see it next week at @galwayfilm.

The Last Set is @elk.studiostv first Frameworks 2D animated short film, and will have its World Premiere at the #GFF on Sat 15th July at 12 noon at the Town Hall Theatre in the @galwayfilm.

Happy New Year everyone❤️ 2023 was a year. And 2024 will be another year. That's called time. Only one man I've ever met could manipulate time. And he was called the Prince of Persia. So unless you too have mastered the sands of time, I hope you make the most of yours. Love, John by @johnyowen
