When I was first building Version 1 of @joinauthorial I was lucky enough to be able to include all the features I thought would help me as an aspiring author - and help other aspiring authors too ☺️

Authors I would love to know, what’s a tip that’s helped you with your writing? I’ve started plotting a fantasy novel that’s stuck in my brain, and I’ll take all the help I can get! 🤭 by @joinauthorial

When I was first drafting my book, I had such a hard time keeping track of my writing.

How many words a day should I be writing?

What if I want to write less on the weekend, but still reach my goal?

So one of the features we decided to add into the platform was an advanced writing tracker. Here’s a bit about how it works.

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Annie and I’m the founder of Authorial - a platform to connect authors with professionals who can help them to get their book out into the world. It’s part-marketplace, part-writing hub, and our goal is to give authors a seamless writing experience from start to finish.

I’ll be sharing more features along the way, but if there’s ever anything in particular you’re searching for, please feel free to drop into my DMs 🫶🏼 by @joinauthorial

When it comes to writing, you can use twenty different tools, or a pen and paper - it really depends on what works best for you.

I usually start by handwriting a scene, then entering it into Authorial and expanding on it at the same time. What tools do you use? by @joinauthorial

Whether you want to quickly reference your character’s eye colour, when they met their husband, or which chapters they’re mentioned in, Authorial’s Character Bible has you covered.

You can include as little or as much information as you like, and you can come back to add to it later as you develop your characters.

If you’re looking for a smooth writing experience, and an easy way to connect with trusted professionals, we’re with you for every chapter. by @joinauthorial

Your story deserves to exist 📖
So what are you waiting for?

One of the most consistent pieces of advice I’ve received from published authors is to write every day. Just get started and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you form a habit of getting the words onto the page.

The day is here - Authorial is live!
We are so excited to welcome you to the platform.

Authorial is everything our founder, @annie.ozdemir , wished she had when she first started writing her book - a clean, cohesive space to write, with helpful tools and vetted professionals who understood her needs and provided a quality service.

This is just the beginning. There is so much we want to do, so many tools we want to build to help authors, professionals, and readers. So thank you for being here at the very start.

We can’t wait to see how far we can go. by @joinauthorial
