We’re still buzzing from the opening panel at the ChaiTech Jewish Innovators Summit ⚡️

“Built with Chutzpah: Jewish Women Shaping Tech & Venture” brought together three powerhouse founders:

Shelby Austin @journalofafounder – Founder & CEO of Arteria AI

Rachel Zimmer @rachzimmm – Co-Founder & CEO of Simple Ventures

Candice Faktor @candicefaktor – Founder & Co-CEO of Disco.co

Moderated by Kelly Yefet, they shared how purpose fuels everything—from how they lead and hire, to the vision behind their ventures.

Their drive? To build bold, learning-driven companies that not only grow, but create new kinds of jobs for people who never imagined themselves in tech.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this inspiring and purpose-packed conversation.

“It helped me reconnect with my bigger vision and mission — and really think big and act fast.” — Valerie Groysman (ChaiTech Alumni), Founder & CEO of Talkin’ Sleep

Building a company can feel like you’re figuring everything out as you go.

That’s why ChaiTech Accelerator exists. 👏🏼

For Valerie, ChaiTech provided the business education, expert guidance, connections, and community she needed to take her business to the next level, while reconnecting with the bigger vision behind what she was building.

And her advice to founders considering the program?

“Get on it immediately.”

Our next ChaiTech Accelerator cohort launches October 13. 🚀

If you’re building something, know some who is, or are ready to take what you’re building to the next level, this is your opportunity to learn from experts, build alongside other founders, and turn your vision into action.

Applications are now open.

50+ mentors across the ChaiTech network. That’s thousands of dollars in coaching value.

Mentorship ranks among the top asks of what founders value most, and here’s why:

In our most recent alumni survey, founders ranked mentorship as the top 3 most valuable parts of ChaiTech, amongst skills training and investor access.

That’s because ChaiTech mentorship isn’t a single coffee chat. It’s “big brother, big sister” coaching: matched for the long term, with someone who knows your context, stays reachable, and has a real stake in what happens to you after the program ends.

40% of founders keep working with their mentor or instructors long after the cohort wraps. Mentors like Neil Grunberg Rob Kenedi Yishay Waxman Josh Guttman Cerys Goodall - and more.

Right now, over 50 active mentors are giving their time to ChaiTech founders.

This is the room you’d be joining. Cohort 8 Applications close in 2 weeks.

Calvin came to ChaiTech with paying customers and revenue, but no investor-ready pitch and no network to raise into.

He now has a $1.1M pre-seed round, 20 roles created, platform expansions, industry awards, and major project milestones. 💵👏🏼

“I could not have funded Crewscope without ChaiTech.” — Calvin Benchimol, Founder & CEO, Crewscope

This is why ChaiTech was built.

The community, mentorship and education await.

Applications for the next cohort close in 2 weeks.

Josh Guttman walked into ChaiTech with SELLIT9: a big vision, total conviction, and no working product. What he didn’t have were answers to the three questions that quietly kill startups: who’s the customer, how do you sell to them, and how do you raise money to grow.

Ten weeks of customer discovery, weekly accountability, and pitch work later, Josh had answers he could defend in front of an investment committee.

SELLIT9 has since closed a $4.1M CAD seed round ($6M raised total) and now serves 4,000+ customers with a 14-person team.

Applications close on October 6.

Five weeks ago, they had ideas.

Today, they have something more powerful: evidence, insights, clarity and a better understanding of what comes next.

Our inaugural ChaiTech Innovators Lab brought together emerging founders from across North America for five intensive weeks of questioning assumptions, speaking with real customers, testing ideas and discovering what is actually true.

And tonight, they’ll Pitch Their Progress.

No judges. No winners. No startup theatre.

Instead, our founders will share:

→ What they believed
→ What they tested
→ What they learned
→ What changed
→ What the evidence tells them now
→ And what they’re doing next

Some ideas will move forward. Some will pivot. Some may take an entirely different path.

That is progress too.

Because entrepreneurship isn’t about proving you were right. It’s about discovering what is true soon enough to do something about it.

This first virtual cohort is only the beginning.

We’ve seen what can happen when ambitious people are given the space, tools, community and encouragement to test their ideas, and we’re just getting started. 🚀

Tonight, we celebrate the progress of our inaugural cohort.

Tomorrow, we start thinking about what’s next. Join us live tonight on Zoom from 7-9pm. Link in bio and stories to register 🎉 a huge thank you to our friends at Anchor Point and Schulich School of Business for partnering with us

Stay tuned. The next generation of builders is just getting started. 💡

You don’t need to call yourself an entrepreneur to join ChaiTech Innovators Lab

This program is built for people who are early, but serious.

It’s for you if:
- You see a recurring problem in your industry.
- You’re exploring a business or side project (or want to test the waters before quitting your job).
- You’re a student who wants to learn by doing.
- People keep telling you: “Someone should build that.”

What you DON’T need: A company, product, co-founder, revenue, or a polished pitch deck.

What you DO need: Curiosity, coachability, commitment, and a willingness to talk to real customers.

Our goal is to help you figure out if your idea is worth building, and if you’re ready to build it. You’ll be challenged, but deeply supported every step of the way.

ChaiTech invests in the person, not just the project.

Founder Spotlight at ChaiTech. 🎤

I got to take the stage and share the ShulWorks story: seven years of running synagogue events, entering the same details into five different systems, and finally deciding to build the thing I wished existed.

I didn't build this from the outside. I'm the customer, and that's the whole reason it works.

Test your idea, before you build it. 👀
Introducing the ChaiTech Innovators Lab

Have an idea you can’t stop thinking about... but don’t know where to begin?

We kept hearing this from thousands of talented people in the ChaiTech community. You have the ambition, the drive, and a real desire to build, but the traditional startup ecosystem often lacks a clear, accessible first step.

The problem isn’t ambition. The problem is knowing where to start.
So, we built the starting line.

Introducing the ChaiTech Innovators Lab, a 5-week virtual pre-accelerator designed to help aspiring founders test their ideas before investing serious time, money, or energy into building them.

What you’ll achieve in just 5 weeks:

Real Validation: Move from an untested idea to gathering concrete customer evidence.

Clear Direction: Walk away with a practical, actionable 90-day path forward.

Unmatched Support: You won’t do it alone. Build alongside a network that genuinely cares (91% of our participants report a strong sense of community!).

Entrepreneurial potential is everywhere. You just need the right environment and accountability to
