bringing together this group of powerful, thoughtful, wildly inspiring mamas was more magical than we could have imagined.

our Founding Connectors are helping us shape what comes next for ParentConnect - spreading the word & keeping a pulse on what moms need most. This next chapter wouldn’t feel the same without them.

Emma’s baby is here! He and mama are doing great - and in typical ParentConnect fashion, Meera was there the day he got home to support, squeeze in some newborn cuddles, and catch up with Emma.

And of course, the text chains were blowing up with our moms too ... because if you know our story, you know we feel like one big extended family.

One of our biggest learnings from the moms in our community: it’s easier to build real connections when you’re meeting people whose schedules and day-to-day rhythms look like yours. So this fall, we’re trying something new - separate gatherings for working moms and stay-at-home moms.

For this one, join us for a morning of yoga + connection with other working moms in a similar season of life. We’ll start with a one-hour class led by Tired Mom Yoga, then stick around for a drink and time to connect.

We’ve been hearing from our community that moms want more chances to connect with others whose schedules and day-to-day lives look like theirs.

So this fall, we’re testing a few gatherings specifically for stay-at-home and working moms.

First up: Coffee + @babblebuddies_chicago for stay-at-home moms and babies up to 14 months.

We had so much fun sharing our story with @602podcast 🎙️ The convo ranged from our personal journey as lifelong friends-turned-co-founders to the way we think about building community at ParentConnect to the ins and outs of starting a business from the ground up.

The 602 is creating exactly what we believe in - a space for local conversations that make Evanston feel more connected. It feels innovative, natural, and necessary - like something every community could use.

And it was started by two powerhouse Evanston moms - one of whom was in one of our earliest moms groups. 🤍 @madbergscho @alittlesas

Last week we celebrated our incredible beta community—the moms who took a chance on ParentConnect, showed up for one another, shared honest feedback, and helped shape what we’re building.

Watching friendships form in real life has been the best reminder that community isn’t something you scroll...it’s something you experience.

It’s been a busy season over here.

As ParentConnect continues to grow, Emma grows her baby, and our kids race toward the finish line of another school year, life has felt wonderfully full.

Which made last night feel like such a gift.

We gathered with some of our beta testers and mamas in our growing community @avliwinnetka for an evening of connection, conversation, and a reminder of why we started ParentConnect in the first place.

Building a village as adults isn’t always easy. Watching moms show up for one another, share honestly, laugh, and build meaningful relationships reminds us that community is something worth investing in.

We’re so grateful for the incredible moms helping shape ParentConnect alongside us. Thank you for your feedback, your ideas, your encouragement, and most of all, your trust.
