From a dorm room to the newspaper.

We’re in The Daily Cardinal @dailycardinal

A small dorm room in Chadbourne is where it all started. It feels right that the first chapter is written here at UW-Madison.

We’ve been sharing our progress online for months, but seeing it in our campus press makes it feel different. This isn’t just an idea or an app anymore; it’s something people care about.

We talked about why, despite having more tools than ever, we feel more scattered than ever.

Separate apps for assignments, calendars, habits, and goals, all disconnected. You end up being the human glue holding it all together.

That’s why we built Priority with these goals:

1️⃣One place for everything: Connect Canvas, Outlook, and Google Calendar together so nothing falls through the cracks.
2️⃣Turning plans into action: Drag tasks into your schedule so your time actually reflects your priorities.
3️⃣Be intentional: Connecting habits to the things (and people) that matter to you so they actually stick.

This started as a project to fix my own life. Now it’s in the paper and live for everyone to use.

Making something outside of class? A film, an EP, a research project, a startup, a novel, a game? This is for you.

UW is full of people doing incredible work. The problem is we’re all doing it alone, stuck in our own buildings and our own majors, never crossing paths with the people who’d push us further.

Priority Labs is nine mornings of fixing that. Filmmakers next to founders. Musicians next to engineers. Everyone working on their own thing, in the same room.

No judges. No prizes. Not a startup accelerator. Just a great space, real work, and people who care about what they’re making, with a showcase at @startingblockmadison

You don’t need a pitch or a résumé. If you’re genuinely passionate and actually doing the work, we want you here.

Finally decided to stop talking about it and just sign up. Madison half marathon this November, aiming for under 2 hours. I genuinely hate running, so I’m tracking everything on Priority to make sure I don’t procrastinate. Not a daily series, just putting the goal out there. by @joinpriority

For 9 days, every morning at 7 am, a group of founders, creators, artists, and engineers met at UW-Madison.

There wasn’t any competition, prizes, or curriculum. Just a community of passionate people showing up and doing the work.

This was the inaugural cohort of Priority Labs.

7:00 AM. Friday. Random location. Day 1 of Priority Labs.

The concept is simple: bring founders, musicians, developers, and creators together and focus entirely on actually getting better at what we do.

We built the Priority app because blocking out your calendar is easy, but executing on your goals is hard. We use social accountability so you don’t quit on yourself in secret.

Today, we brought that exact system to the real world. A 9-day sprint to set our intentions, block out the time, and use the energy of the room to make sure we actually become who we set out to be.

8 days to go. Let’s see what happens. Showcase on April 19th. by @joinpriority
