Masego @masego at JAMA! 😮‍💨🔥🔥… yeah, we had to keep this one on a need-to-know basis.

We had the honor of hosting the after-party when Masego came through Chicago, and what a night it was.

And if you’re wondering why you don’t see him in the recap - his team asked for no photos or videos of him that night, and we respected that 🤝🏾

Good people, good music, beautiful chaos. One for the books.

If you knew, you knew 🧡

Two years of JAMA! 🧡

This one means a little more to us.

JAMA! has always been family-run. Behind it are three siblings - KAxG, the brother & sister DJ duo @hey_gatti @_king.aba_ , and our older sister Debbie @debbie_b0. We had an idea to create something rooted in our culture, community, and the freedom to experience music differently.

Swipe through for a little trip down memory lane. The first four are from our earliest days at Barrel Cheese & Wine @barrelcheeseandwine , where it all started. A lot has happened since then 🥹

This past year especially, JAMA! has grown more than we could have imagined. First, we thank God. And then every one of you who took a chance on us, came to a party, brought a friend, danced with us, shared a post, gave us feedback, or stopped us in public just to show love.

Thank you for being open to a new sound and trusting us to take you somewhere you weren’t expecting.

A special thank you to Watahi @_watahi_ , @jayd.music , and @hi_imjae_ . You’ve supported us and our family in ways we could never repay. We’re eternally grateful. 🧡

So on Saturday, August 29, we’re taking JAMA! back to Barrel Cheese & Wine to celebrate our two-year anniversary where it all began.

Whether you’ve been here since day one, found us at Heavy-K, Vigro Deep, B.o.B & Que DJ, Kwamzy, one of our smaller JAMA! parties, AfroRave on the River, or somewhere in between - you’re part of this story. Come celebrate two years with us.

Two years down. God willing, many more to go.

CHICAGO! JULS is coming to JAMA! on September 11th🔥

Check out his new joint project with Jamaican artist Projexx, JUNCTION 🇬🇭🤝🏾🇯🇲

Ghana and Jamaica are two countries whose sounds have traveled far beyond their borders and helped shape music around the world. JUNCTION brings that deep cultural and musical connection together beautifully.

Juls’ smooth, Ghanaian-rooted sound meets the unmistakable rhythm and energy of Jamaica - Afrobeats, dancehall, soul, and everything in between. The project features Boj, Pa Salieu, Winny, Tay Iwar, Haile, Jahmiel, Valiant and more.

Get your tickets for September 11th and stream JUNCTION - all links in our bio.

CHICAGO…JULS is your next JAMA! headliner 🇬🇭

This one is especially meaningful to us. Juls is Ghanaian, just like us, and is one of the defining architects of modern Afrobeats and contemporary African music.

The British-Ghanaian producer, DJ, and songwriter has spent over a decade shaping the global sound of the genre, with production credits including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Lauryn Hill, Tyler, The Creator, GoldLink, Masego, Wande Coal, Sarkodie, Amaarae, Don Toliver and many more.

Now, he’s bringing that sound to the AfroRave on Friday, September 11.

EARLY BIRD TICKETS ARE LIVE NOW FOR JUST $15. They will sell out, so move quickly.
