Can you spot the difference? This is what removing water as the main ingredient from my skin products looks like for me and my skin. Up until December of last year, I spent YEARS washing my face with a bar of soap and using grocery store face cream and makeup— which was fine for what I needed at the time and season.

But since turning 40 and especially 41, my skin has changed and it needs something for this season of life; my old routine and products no longer served me.

The before pictures are from December 7, 2025, and these “in progress” photos are from February 25, 2026. That’s only 80 days apart.

80 days of changing the routine to remove water-based products has made SUCH a difference for my skin, my confidence, and my desire and willingness to show my “bare” skin without the need for covering it up. Can you see it too?

Results may vary by person, but here are the products I’ve been using daily for the last 80 days:
—F71 gel cleanser (no more bars of soap for my face)
—F67 tonic to balance the skin’s pH and prep it for the next steps
—F83 vitamin C serum to focus on the dark spots
—F07 face cream

Olive Tree People’s slogan is “Beauty from the inside out”, so I also used an internal for about 50 of the 80 days as well. The one I chose was the I70 Beauty Molecule because I liked the taste better than the I66 collagen. 🤣

I’m still just so mind blown by the difference!!!

I couldn’t have said it better myself— bacteria grows in water. Period. Is water the first ingredient in your skincare bottle? If so, this is your sign that there is a better formulation, one that DOESN’T include water.

I dare you to listen to this audio and not smile. It’s not possible!

This weekend as I listened to the General Conference messages from leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the message I heard most was about overcoming adversity, being uplifted through adversity, angels administering to others in their adversity, and all things uplifting because of Jesus Christ.

I am so grateful for Jesus Christ! Because of Him and the HOPE that comes because of Him, there is no trial we’ll face in any season of life that can’t be gotten through. I loved the reminder that Sister Tamara Runia gave of the scripture that there is a reason why we go through everything we go through: “all these things shall give thee experience and shall be for thy good.” Period.

I’m grateful for this “Laboratory of Life”, and though there are struggles, the end will be worth it when we’re with Jesus. So in the meantime, listen to this audio, smile, and press on the best way you know how…. Because you are worthy and deserving of ALL the goodness that could come your way! 🌟 by @joinwithjamiep
