My brother’s music has always been his greatest gift to me! Growing up as a little girl listening to him practice piano, as a young teen falling asleep to his high school band rehearsing the coolest hits from the 60’s + 70’s, going to see him play live with artists like Gary Wright, Boz Scaggs and Toto. My favorites though are the songs he writes about love + life and to be a part of his process is awe inspiring. This new album, The Very Day is another amazing compilation of some of his songs recorded with some of his favorite musicians and friends. Love this single Change with @michaelmcdonaldofficial Available now to stream on Spotify, Apple Music + more! by @jojoduddy

August 5, 1992 started out as the best day ever. Shopping with the hilarious @wilshriner for a fun new show I was dressing him for. Came home in time for yummy pasta dinner and the phone rang. It was Steve P with the call. It’s those moments in time you will never forget. Your life can really change in a moment. God Bless every person who helped our family at that time and to everyone that still shares their memories of Jeff with us. I don’t know how we got through it all but you do. Life doesn’t slow down for any of it. You just learn how to survive and catch up with a new reality. I don’t like it but I’ve gotten good at it. 😔 What I do like is that they really are with you all the time, you think about them more and more as time goes on and they really continue to teach you. #porcarokids #ripjeffreythomasporcaro taken in Valley Villiage, Ca by @jojoduddy
