I haven’t been able to go through photos/or even post really since I took this trip halloween weekend last year.

In October 2025, my sisters, my mom, and I volunteered at a balloon festival in Page, Arizona.

It was part of my mom’s Christmas gift. We couldn’t offer her a trip to the Albuquerque balloon festival (my mom has always wanted to go) because one of my sisters and I each had a wedding to attend that weekend. Taylar did a lot of researching and found that Page does a balloon festival. It was smaller, but just as scenic.

So off to Page we went, with little expectations other than we would learn how to set up a hot balloon. We did not expect all of the hot air balloon rides, meeting tons of balloonists, and the talks with amazing people along the way. We joined a pilot’s crew and his hot air balloon called “basket case” and ballooned with them for 4 days. After each successful day of flying, we celebrated with mimosas.

tarantula adventure from september ◡̈⃝

never got around to posting these but highly recommend visiting comanche grasslands during tarantula mating season. males set off on their last hurrah to find a mate before dying (whether its by starvation or the girly pop eats them)

contrary to popular belief tarantulas are relatively harmless as their bites are similar to a bee sting. it should also be noted that a fall from 3 feet or more can kill them.

ski season was a season that did happen so it deserves a grid post.

recap:
~ did my first blacks and double blacks (w lots of encouragement ofc and starfishing sometimes)
~ ate it on the first long tree run i did (not featured but iykyk)
~ not shown: broken car door handles, bindings, and having to use ur snowboard as a sled to get down a mountain
