The universe responds to the frequency you embody. When your energy aligns with your vision, life begins to mirror back the reality you’ve been cultivating within—your dream life is not chased, it is magnetized💕

From the age 15–30…i gave away my power to men who didn’t value me…friends who were lowkey jealous…& environments that thrived on confusion instead of growth…

I shrunk myself to be accepted.
I ignored my intuition to keep the peace.
I overgave, overexplained, and overlooked red flags just to feel chosen.

But the truth is…every time I abandoned myself, I paid for it mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Now I see it clearly—
my power was never “taken”…I handed it over.

And now? I’m taking it back😈
With boundaries.
With discernment.
With self-respect that doesn’t negotiate for love.

This version of me doesn’t chase validation…
she embodies it😤

I have the feels… 🙌🏽 You can sense when it’s time for a new chapter. I’m trusting God with the next steps and letting Him lead the way. 🙏🏽 by @jolane.mason

Hi virtual family 🤍
…There are a lot of new people here, so I should probably re-introduce myself.
I’m Jolane🥰…
I love Jesus with my whole heart, but if you met me years ago, you probably wouldn’t have guessed this would be my life.
Sometimes you find someone after God has changed their life and only see the after.. the church, Bible studies, motivational speeches, & joy, but you don’t know what came before it.
And there was a LOT before it for me.
From ages 15-30, I was a sex addict &battling against a mental disorder known as “BPD”.
I lost my favorite uncle to murder, & lost my favorite brother to the prison system which started the road to self destruction* I was homeless in L.A…sleeping in cars, sold drugs, got pregnant twice out of wedlock, and did things for money I carried deep shame about.
I turned to alcohol, drugs, attention, money & men to fill what was empty in me. There was no light & no reason to keep living.
There are things I’ve done that I wish I could undo and things that happened to me that took years to understand. I genuinely thought parts of my story disqualified me from ever being a woman God could use.
And somehow... Jesus met me there.
When there was no one, there He was🥹
…&that is why I talk about Jesus the way I do now.
Because I know what it’s like to think you’ve gone too far.
I know how it feels to live hidden, full of shame and guilt*

Maybe you’re carrying your own thing.
Maybe it’s an abortion.
Maybe it’s an STD.
Maybe it’s addiction.
Maybe it’s something you’re convinced you have to take to the grave.
I hope you see my life and realize shame doesn’t get the final word. You are not too far away for Jesus.
So whether you love Him, you’re finding your way back, or you don’t even know what you believe yet... hi 👋
You can sit with me.
You’ll get the real authentic version of life itself on my page …
And maybe it’s time we start talking about the things we’re afraid to say out loud.
Maybe it’s time to become a little more …unhidden*
You’re invited and there’s a seat saved for you 🤍 I love you &so does God🤍

I know it’s a heavy task …but keep pushing forward 🙌🏽

Sometimes the closed door is God’s protection. I’m learning to trust the exit, release what’s being removed, and stop chasing what no longer belongs in my life. 🤍

Getting close to me isn’t easy—and I’m okay with that.

I’ve learned to be at peace in my own space, move without an audience, and stop allowing other people’s opinions to define me. Life still brings setbacks, but resilience isn’t about avoiding hard moments—it’s about how quickly you reset.

I feel it. I process it. I learn from it. Then I get back to what matters.

I know who I am, even when others misunderstand me. 🖤

Discipline is self-respect. The routine I’m living today is filled with opportunities I once prayed for. Whether they judge me or feel inspired by me, I’m staying focused and doing what’s best for me. 🏆
