Happy resurrection Sunday!! On this day I am beyond grateful to announce my commitment to Eastern Kentucky University! What a privilege it is to continue on my Parents’ journey.
I say thank you to Jesus, my best friend, the one who has never left and has shown me what it means to be alive. He has given me an abundance of peace and wisdom as I close out my high school career, and I am so excited to be His hands and feet these next 4 years at EKU.
I also want to say thank you to my family, friends, teachers, and coaches who have guided me through every trial and challenge. Thank you for all the good times and learning opportunities.I wouldn’t be who I am, or where I am, today without my community❤️

Dear Jesus, thank you for gifting me the most wonderful people, the most wonderful family.

3 years ago, at this same youth camp,I rededicated my life to Jesus. The girl I was before is not who I am now, and the past three years have been so unimaginably joyful. Through good times, through hard times, through times where I didn’t want to continue on Jesus brought me through. And not only has he brought me through, he’s brought me to the top. People ask me all the time “do you ever stop smiling” “why are you always laughing”, and I just smile and laugh even more because I know Jesus.

My sole reason for living is to be loved by Christ, love Christ, and love Christ’s creation. Love is why I live. God is love 💗 by @jolena.thomas
