Some unique things about this voidfetti colorway that i think are fun:
- the black tile acts as a sort of base color, which makes the colorful tiles pop and feel extra juicy, i think this creates a depth effect too where the black feels receded into the background and the colors are brought to the foreground
- the button tile (yellow) is a different color than the base color (black), which i think makes the user feel involved in the playfulness of the pattern. if the button tile on this lamp were one of the black tiles i think i would feel like im missing out on the fun.
- HOWEVER, even though the button tile is a different color than the base color, the pattern still doesn’t make it obvious which tile is the button, so the sense of mystery is still preserved
- the black base and cord i think just round out the overall aesthetic, feels very slick and unified

I’m hoping to bring this color scheme to the Tile Lamp and Tile Block sizes as well, though not it the same pattern. Stay tuned for those 💕💕 REMINDER: website in bio ! and the Jade and Blush colors are ON SALE right now ! 😮💡 taken in St. Louis by @jombus_design

Crimson and Blush are the newest colors to be added to the Tile Lamp lineup and if i may be so bold they are some of my favorite colors yet!! i think having these two colors makes the tile palette feel well rounded. On a side note I’m coming up on 3 years since I started making lamps and selling them full time, and while I love making tile lamps I’m kind of ready to move on from them; there are so many other ideas to explore. Figuring out how to balance the different roles I have to play can be challenging, and these days I find myself spending so much time as factory-jo and not as much time as designer-jo. I’d like to get back to the creative side of things. Thank u so much to everyone who has been supporting my work and dealing with the long wait times <3 it means so much. Anyway, if any lighting companies would be interested in licensing my designs and taking over production, feel free to reach out. love yallll <3 by @jombus_design

Here’s what the three sizes of tile lamps look like next to each other, as well as next to me. Individually, they each have their own personality, contribute their own flair, and play their own tune. Together, they sing a nice song. Specifically “startup tune” by @pizzahotline_ 🍕☎️ and @nuphory which i have not been able to stop listening to taken in St. Louis by @jombus_design

This is my first post of the year, I’ve been rlly busy with getting orders out but I think this is going to be a great year for new lamps. Lowkey I want to make a lamp that is just two Tile Blocks stacked on top of each other ! i’ll need a good name for that one… by @jombus_design

Introducing Tile Block. I’ve finally finished the design and am officially selling these on my website!! I’ve yet to make all the different colored versions but it is available in all colors except opal blush. Also, instead of unscrewing the base to change the bulb as is the case with Tile Lamp and Tile mini, Tile Block has a hidden door on the back that gives you access to the bulbs. I think it ties in well with the secret tile button ☺️

Tile Chunk is now live on my website ❤️ This is the first tile lamp that I’ve made with the button on top. It’s a subtle difference but I think it’s intriguing, and more so I just like that the button changes location when looking at the different tile lamps as a body of work. where will it go next? by @jombus_design
