President Trump’s executive order on psych-d-l!cs has shaken our community, sparking heated debates and raising questions about the procedures underlying the decision.

At times like these, it is vital that we promote conversations that raise awareness about the motivations and political implications of these processes, as well as the different perspectives that shape them.

At Chacruna, we care deeply about making these discussions accessible to the entire community. As we considered how we could be of service at this historic moment, we decided to make this Community Forum that reflects on the Psych-d-l!c Executive Order fully accessible and free of charge ✨

Extended state DMT with Hayley Mann RN and Kevin Thorbahn of DreamMind Labs. 5-MeO-DMT with Azul DelGrasso and Rev. Merrill Ward. Joe Moore is honest about the part that rarely makes it into the conversation.

After three days of intense psychedelic experiences, during a period already full of stress and pressure, he could not sleep for five months. Five months.

He is thankful for it now. He calls the experiences genuinely helpful. But integration, the work of making sense of it all afterwards, can be a hard struggle for months, and for some people years.

Presenters will mostly be Vital graduates who've been working in the field for years. We'll announce other guests soon who have been working the front lines for years.

No drugs involved. This happened in a breathwork session.

A woman started chanting in a language she did not know. Nobody in the room knew it either. They recorded it and sent it to a scholar of dead languages, and it came back as Aramaic. Coherent Aramaic. The same phrase for an hour or two straight: I have suffered, we have suffered, you have suffered.

Joe Moore’s point is that this stuff is not exclusive to psychedelics. It is one organism, one process, with some very strange access.
