Dearest Beholder,

Starting this painting,
I had no idea what it would develop into.
I knew I wanted to do something risqué.
I had taken a selfie and thought,
I want to draw/paint this.
This is my first official canvas.
Ive painted before but for shits and giggles.
This is also my first voice recording..
Small steps,
And getting there somehow.
Eventually, I’ll be on cam.
Just try it,
One step at a time!

At times I strive to be perfect.

I realize all the beauty in imperfection.
Imperfection allows me to view things
In another way I would have not seen it.

Dearest Beholder,

Revisit,
Adjust,
And let be.
At times I think I have to be perfect.
I am learning now with art,
That its ok to revisit,
Adjust as needed
And let it be.
I never understood “artist hand”.
With the Taughannock Falls NY,
Trying to make it perfect.
Spending hours on hours,
I had to step back.
Make quick changes.
And understand thats how it wanted to be!

My grams passed 6 years ago today!
I love that little lady!
As I am creating,
As I am evolving,
I thank her for the love,

As I walked through Taughannock Falls, NY
