• working as a gardener in a tropical rainforest

A Mile End Story 🌿
Six apartments. Five years of studies. Two record labels. One thousand bike rides. Sunsets in the Old Port. Mornings in the Mile End. Late nights at Datcha. Lazy afternoons in the park. And the first person I met in Montreal is still my best friend today.

Funny to think there was a time when all of it was still waiting for me.

Have a beautiful trip, Lutz. I’ll see you somewhere soon… Berlin, Helsinki, Montreal. The map feels secondary.

You and Julia made Perth feel larger and stranger and more welcoming than it had any right to. Everyone should be lucky enough to have a friend who’s equal parts odd, generous, and attentive to the world. For the moment, I’m happy to fill that role myself.
