POSTS STORIES REELS

by @jonasostergaardpedersen

Some stories begin with a feeling: Copenhagen at Christmas, winter light on the water, and the wish to bring Danish Christmas hygge to the screen 🎄✨

After years of bringing Christmas stories to Hallmark audiences, Emilie Ullerup dreamed of working in Denmark again. Her idea became A Danish Christmas - a story filled with æbleskiver, Christmas cookies, bicycles, tree decorating, new love and family bonds.

That’s Hallmark at its best: romance, family, tradition and the magic of finding your way home. And the audience is vast: Nielsen reported that more than 80 million people in the U.S. watched at least part of a Hallmark Christmas movie during the 2021 holiday season.

We’re especially proud that Danish actors are part of this story, including talent from Panorama Agency and Panorama Academy. In just a few days, we received more than 800 enquiries from actors and background performers. Thank you to everyone who reached out and became part of the journey. Extra thank you to the extras who was a joy adding to the Christmas spirit 🎉💫

We were delighted when Emilie invited us to contribute through casting. The director and producers made the final casting choices; our role was to present talent for their consideration.

A little Danish Christmas, from Copenhagen to the world ❤️

JONAS ØSTERGAARD PEDERSEN ✨🎬
CLASS OF 2025-2027

Jonas has been acting since he was 13, beginning on stage before finding his way into musical theatre - where a director first introduced him to the 12 steps of the Chubbuck Technique.

Alongside acting, music has always been an important part of Jonas’ life. He sings, plays music, teaches and is training to become a voice coach. His deep curiosity about people and life also led him to earn a master’s degree in applied philosophy.

Jonas brings intelligence, presence and curiosity into the room - combined with a wonderful sense of timing and a natural talent for comedy. He has the ability to find the unexpected moment and make it feel completely truthful.

When Jonas moved from Northern Jutland to Copenhagen, he joined Panorama Academy’s two-month Chubbuck course. Here, he felt challenged and provoked - in what he describes as both an “annoying and amazing way” - and knew that he wanted to go deeper.

That experience led him to take the next step and join our 2-Year Acting Program.

Jonas came to Panorama with a clear purpose: to develop his craft, gain honest and practical acting tools and grow alongside people who take both themselves and their dreams seriously.

Since beginning his journey at the Academy, he has already been invited to self-tape for an American film - and booked the role 🎬✨

Over the two years, Jonas wants to explore more of his artistic identity, build creative confidence and strengthen his understanding of both the craft and the industry.

We are so happy to welcome Jonas into the Class of 2025-2027 and to support him as he continues moving toward something greater ❤️
