POV: your handlebars are straight, but your front wheel has other plans 😅

Note: you do this on both sides of the fork

A bump to the curve or a hard landing can twist the forks slightly in the clamps and make the whole front end feel crooked or the steering can feel "off". A quick glass plate test can show you if they are aligned. Here’s the step-by-step process I used to realign everything properly, torque it back to spec, and get the bike tracking straight again.

Save this for the day your bike decides to look sideways.

The year was 1994. I was 8 years old.
That was the first time I saw a Ducati 916.

I had no idea what I was looking at really. I just knew it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. That bike started it all.

32 years later, I still stop in my tracks when I see a 916.
