Enfin! L’épée est terminée!

La satisfaction est immense d’avoir terminé le projet après aussi longtemps. L’idée de la faire est là depuis au moins 6 ans, si ce n’est plus. J’ai commencé à vraiment travailler il y a plus de 2 ans. Entre le travail et les travaux de la maison je n’ai pas pu la finir aussi vite que je l'aurais voulu. Mais je suis content d’avoir tenu jusqu’à la fin. Elle n’est pas parfaite, il y a pas mal de points que je ferai différemment s’il fallait refaire l’épée, mais j’ai beaucoup appris.

D’autres posts vont venir pour montrer plus l’épée et surtout la voir en fonctionnement.

Finally! The sword is finished!

The satisfaction of completing the project after such a long time is huge. The idea of doing it has been around for at least 6 years, if not more. I started to really work on it over 2 years ago. Between work and chores around the house I couldn't finish it as quickly as I would have liked. But I'm glad I held on until the end. It’s not perfect, there are a lot of things I would do differently if I had to redo the sword, but I learned a lot.

More posts will come to show more of the sword and especially to see it in operation.

Spooky Halloween!

Allow me to introduce you this demon crown I created for a contest.

This is completely 3Dprinted and painted. The horns are hollow, allowing EL wire to be inserted inside it to made the runes glow.
