Definitely one of the most enjoyable projects I’ve worked on. A passion project in the making, was super glad that my friends honored my call for help when I needed them to assist, even when they have not much production experience (except for 2 lads and 1 girl). 3 products, 3 sports, 3 days to shoot, approximately 13 hours and 2 months later, the final video is finally out. Big thanks to the amazing athletes @reneeclimbs @jazelxlim and @melvinegar for agreeing to this and making this happen. Big shoutout to @drewbs.l @ordinaryming @veronica.lxyy for the production assist and the rest of the crew for helping out!
@ddlysiaaaaa @itsbryanadam @oneakhmed @kelvenloh @itzokadam

Thank you @overmalaysia for making this happen and trusting us throughout this process!

May the Force be with you!

It’s that time of the year again, May the 4th, officially deemed as Star Wars Day! Somehow I’ve always been attracted to shooting lightsabers and so glad I had the many talented people to make this project happen in such a short notice! Watch till the end to see an Easter egg!

Mad respect and appreciation to @melvinegar for being the amazing Jedi that he is, and also @i.am.malz ‘s insane camera movement and @arilroffie assistance!

Lightsaber used in photos was Ulanzi VL110, 3 units joined as one by @ulanzi_malaysia

Song used is Rise of Skywalker by the legendary @samuelkimmusic

My mom is cooler than your mom.

Or, weirder. Whichever you prefer. I love you mom (please don’t hit me)

Had a shoot nearby one day while waiting for everyone, I stumbled across this beautiful brutalist building. Naturally couldn’t get it out of my brain and lo and behold, came back with le parents at 8am in the morning to get sum of dat sun kiss moments. Thanks mom for being a model and dad being the model’s assistant 😆

Yes. That is why I’m weird and short too.

This one took a while to edit cuz life happened 👀

Attended @___delaine’s wedding in Sabah (congrats again Delaine! How’s the married life?) and managed to plan a spontaneous trip to Kundasang with @ddlysiaaaaa and @weixianlow

Also Nick was on his character development chapter so he did quite a number of random things.

Here’s for more spontaneous adventures! taken in Kundasang, Sabah by @jonathan_cheah

Came home early after watching Spider-Man movie with le colleagues and felt inspired by the end scene to grab some shots from my balcony. Only planned to post this as story but through the encouragement of a couple others convinced me to post this as a reel ahaha.

A video love letter to those who were involved in making the movie. Truly well deserved ovation.

A letter to myself, 6 years later.

Can’t imagine I would be writing a letter to myself in 2032. But then again, why not? This post is a self reminder not just to myself but also to everyone; that no matter what happens, the challenges we face, the highs and lows that we’ve experienced, they shape who we are. But experiences don’t define us, it’s what we do that defines us. So from the bottom of my heart, I hope that you’ll still be the kind idiot that you are in the future. 6 years is a long time and anything can happen. But remember that even 6 years later, the @samsungmalaysia ‘s #GalaxyA57 5G will still be great, especially with the 6 years OS updates.
