Thank you Morgan for choosing and trusting me as the Cinematographer on your film! It’s such a great honor and privilege to share in the incredible experience that is your feature directing debut and our first feature together! 🥰

Big Thanks to my Camera, Grip & Lighting teams! You made coming to work on this movie such a blessing & a joy! & to Ben, the colorist, for your amazing work that made the film look even more beautiful!

Also thank you to everyone involved in the creation, promotion, & presentation of this film!

I’m so proud of what we all accomplished on this one! I’ll never forget how special making this movie was. 🥰

Huge thanks to our @kickstarter backers who also helped make this movie possible!

Also, a special thank you, to everyone who helped, inspired & encouraged me during this busy and crazy time in my life. It was a wild ride making this film while working, teaching, & getting married! To my wife, friends, family, students, & colleagues, so much love to you all! 💖

This post is about Paige and me. She is my best friend and the love of my life! I am so grateful everyday for her love and support. In the years we have been together we have had so many wonderful adventures! Recently I asked her to marry me, and she said, “Absolutely! Yes!” Thank you so very much to all of our family and friends! Paige and I are so very excited to continue living adventurously together as husband and wife for the rest of our lives! 🥰🎉💪😎😍🎊❤️🍾🫶
Also it was so amazing to have Paul and Tracy (Paige’s parents) and our friends Chris and David there to help capture the moment. ❤️ by @jonathan_mahoney

We are cinematographers calling for a ban of functional firearms on set. I am proud to be among so many cinematographers all showing our signed support in this open letter.

This letter calls for immediate support & action, not just from union leadership, but from producers & lawmakers “to affect unified change on our behalf ban all functional firearms on set. We vow to no longer knowingly work on projects using functional firearms for filming purposes. We vow to no longer put ourselves & our crew in these unnecessarily lethal situations. We have safe alternatives in VFX & non-functional firearms. We won’t sit back & wait for the industry to change. We have a duty to effect change within the industry ourselves."

This letter comes following the senseless, avoidable & tragic death of our colleague & fellow cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

I personally never got to know her but was saddened by the amount of close friends & colleagues who did & are deeply affected by this tragedy. Her life was taken too soon. Halyna & her cinematographic work touched many hearts & minds. The pain that this tragedy leaves will no doubt continue to be felt long after it has faded from the headlines.

This avoidable tragedy is yet another terrible reminder that in order to change the toxic and dangerous work culture, systemic abuses and failures, we must stand united and demand safer work conditions, hours and livable wages for all. No more horror stories. No more avoidable deaths. We morn her together & stand stronger together then ever before @iasolidarity determined to create a better culture & future for our industry.

We have had enough.

Additionally, in the wake of Hutchins’ death, a Change.org petition addressed to Baldwin, to use his influence in calling for a ban on using real firearms on set & demanding better working conditions for crew, has amassed more than 100,000 signatures.
