What a year 2025 has been! @mischiefcomedy opened two West End Shows and recorded a series of Movie Night! I joined the world of MCU with @henrylewis (surreal), I visited so many amazing countries (including Australia) and met the most wonderful talented people, saw the mighty @ashtonunitedfc get to the playoffs (we had a goal chalked off for no reason and I’m still bitter about it), went to a 100th birthday party, saw my book paired with Pep Guardiola’s, finished writing a musical with @edzandersmusic, made my debut as a football mascot, welcomed my niece into the world and alongside @lucydanserwrites continued to raise our wonderful little girl Jessie Joy who is perfect except for the fact that she doesn’t sleep. Thanks to friends and family and everyone who made the year so special. Wishing you all an amazing 2026! ❤️ by @jonathan_sayer1

What an amazing trip to The Czech Republic to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Petr Pan, Ktery Se Zvrtl). Thank you to everyone @divadlokladno for mounting this fantastic production and inviting me to see it. I had a wonderful time! Gratuluji to the cast, creatives and stage management who were all magnificent. I had such a fantastic night at the gala performance of @spiescomedy! Huge congratulations to the whole team. What a stunning production (the scale is unbelievable), the writing is brilliant (I didn’t write it so I’m allowed to say that without sounding like an arse), the direction and creative is wonderfully precise and imaginative and the cast (my best pals) are sensational and so very accomplished. You have 7 more weeks to catch the show so get your tickets now if you want to laugh your socks off; back on and then off again (it’s that good). 🕵️‍♀️ by @jonathan_sayer1

After 10 fun filled weeks in 8 amazing venues playing 81 shows to just over 42 thousand people the first UK Tour of Thespians is over (at least for now)….

What an amazing experience it’s been! One that’s taken a small Greek village/Island!

A huge thank you to our incredible cast, crew, stage management and band who have worked tirelessly on a pretty relentless schedule. They’ve all been brilliant, funny, collaborative and kind from the minute we started. @matt_cav90 @alliedartmunro @claire_m_hall @miajerome @lukelatchman @marcpickering70 @jamesspence_ @rhyslizzietaylor @joshpatelfoster @atuckersgram @curt.p_ @elishebastevens @helenbennett87 Tom Hutchinson, @haleyyiu222 Roisin Symes, @carys.farndon, Helen Griffiths, Esther M, Gillian, Rebbeca and Lucy!

Thank you to our wonderful producers @mercurytheatrecolchester @homemcr (lead by @natasharickman Karen O’Neill @antonystuarthicks ) who have worked so hard to make this run happen whilst running their own buildings!! To our executive producer @henrylewis who’s sage guidance and wisdom can never be underplayed and to everyone @mischiefcomedy and MWL who never fail to amaze me in their ability to hold, support and nourish projects and artists.

A huge thanks to our marketing teams, PR, technicians, engineers and programmers! To our production managers (we had two), drivers, riggers, fixers and everyone who kept the show moving!
