We are deeply grateful to Frederick, @flaviedurandruel and @vicmouraux for their vision, dedication, and support of Jonathan's work.

A solo exhibition of Jonathan's work opens Sept 6th at @frederickmourauxgallery, entitled "Veils of Light," and runs through October 24th.

Jonathan would have been beyond thrilled. Today marks four years since he left this world.

Adrian and I are grateful to Frederick and @flaviedurandruel for their continued support of Jonathan's work. Adrian will be at the opening and looks forward to seeing Jonathan's friends and colleagues in Brussels.

More photos from Jonathan's studio that he designed with his wife, my mother, Adrian. Jonathan always sought to capture the light in his pieces, to evoke tranluscency, light, air and water - the essence of life and the sacred.

You can see what Jonathan called "the rack." A hanging system he and Adrian designed so he could store his paintings and flip through them like a book to show visitors.

It was joyous to install these works here and imagine him insisting that the piece be hung a few inches more to the left. We miss you. by @jonathanadolphe

We moved Jonathan's latest work to the studio space he designed with his wife, architect Adrian Grad Adolphe, almost 20 years ago. I heard his voice in my ear as my mother and I curated the installation, and I wish he could have seen how the light dances on his ephemeral surfaces, illuminating his vivid dreams.

You can also see what Jonathan called "the rack." A hanging system he and Adrian designed so he could store his paintings and flip through them like a book to show visitors.

I've been away from social media for the past 6 months due to some health issues, but I am happy to share that I am feeling well now and continue to stay committed to sharing my father's work here with his friends, colleagues and art lovers alike.

Studio visit with @frederickmourauxgallery and Flavie Durand-Ruel. Thank you for coming all the way from Brussels!

In the first photo, you can see some of Jonathan's early works on the table. Then, you will see the special rack he designed to hang the paintings that weren't featured on the wall.

Opening this week: I'm delighted to share that Jonathan's work will be exhibited at the @anciennenonciature with @frederickmourauxgallery as part of Art Nunzio alongside artists he admired @domgray_ . I know he would have been so proud and honored. This painting along with 4 others from his 2022 (Gem-in-eye) series will be on display.

Sigh-Klops
Tinted Urethane, Fiberglass, and Spray Paint
I imagine Jonathan loved the word play of this title and its multiple meanings, but it also reminds me of Jonathan's earliest works, which were inspired by Navy Signal Flags and brail, containing phrases such as "Kilo Kilo" and "Delta Xray." The shape of the canvas suggests a flag with a bold message.

The Sleepwalkers (Triptych)

This photo and these pieces evoke deeper and deeper meanings for me now. Jonathan came up with his concept of "invisible paintings" when he was ill, and while they capture his understanding of his impending mortality and his love of the sacred, immortal spirit of art, they are also immensely playful and he was perhaps most excited to create these works. The outer paintings are currently in Belgium at @frederickmourauxgallery
