Linfa
The Philosophy of Wonder.
For Artigianato e Palazzo, Linfa was conceived as a site-specific intervention moving through Palazzo Corsini and its garden like a living organism.
The project explores the idea of reinterpreting the past rather than altering it.
The missing parts of the garden’s Roman statues become the starting point for new organic forms — contemporary extensions that seem to grow from their bodies, evoking transformation and the myth of Daphne.
Moving between sculpture, light and furniture, Linfa creates a dialogue between history and contemporary imagination, turning the existing heritage into something alive and continuously evolving.
Commissioned by Artigianato e Palazzo for Giardino Corsini, Florence.

Silenti, a site specific project Made for @vestigiacollectible in collaboration with @ombre1srl

Silenti qn installation of illuminated sculptures designed to be experienced through movement. Their minimal, anthropomorphic forms evoke silent beings inhabiting the landscape, inviting visitors into a direct and physical relationship with the work.
Crafted from Geolite, a high-performance mineral-based material, the sculptures combine durability with a tactile, stone-like presence. The integrated light does more than illuminate the surroundings—it accompanies the visitor’s journey, transforming the act of walking beneath the sculptures into an immersive spatial experience.
The installation encourages people to walk beneath these figures, as though passing through a landscape inhabited by quiet, watchful beings. In doing so, the works become mediators between people, nature, and architecture, subtly redefining the perception of the environment.
Rather than functioning as objects alone, Silenti invites viewers to slow down, engage with their surroundings, and experience space as a place of encounter and connection.

Like two forms emerging from the garden, the benches of Linfa invite the body to become part of the installation.
Their organic shapes grow, bend and adapt to the space, translating the same visual language of Linfa into a functional form.
Suspended between sculpture and furniture, they are conceived not only to be observed, but to be inhabited.

What is missing can become the beginning of something new.
For Linfa, the missing parts of the ancient statues at Giardino Corsini become the starting point for new organic forms.
Rather than reconstructing the past, the intervention imagines its transformation
new elements growing from existing bodies, suspended between the human, the vegetal and the sculptural.

This year, the site-specific artistic installation for ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO has been entrusted to young designer Jonathan Bocca, who in this video shares the making of “LINFA. The Philosophy of Wonder” and the techniques behind the project.

From Friday to Sunday, the installation will transform the Giardino Corsini into an immersive journey through art, design and memory: a large organic form will flow through the spaces of the Palazzo and its Garden, creating a unique dialogue between historical heritage and contemporary creativity.

Made from discarded paper supplied by Bartoli SpA in Lucca, the works invite visitors to see this historic setting through new eyes.

Jonathan Bocca, born in 1998, is a sculptural designer who graduated from IED Florence and studied at UAL in London. His research explores new materials and forms, rethinking the relationship between design, art and matter.

LUCIFERO

Drawn into the same gravitational field, the two languages converge into a single form.

@jonathanbocca’s dark, organic structure of wood and papier-mâché grows around a two-way mirror shaped by @costantinogucci. Reflection and transparency meet matter and light, forming a presence that shifts between sculptural object, living figure and perceptual threshold.

At Palazzo Bracci, Lucifero marks the point at which two autonomous practices collapse into a shared form.

SINGULARITIES

Eden, a light sculpture by @jonathanbocca, emerges as a dark, almost biological presence, shaped by a continuous tension between form and light.

Alongside it, PRT.BH1 by @costantinogucci shifts between reflection and transparency. A deep green circular gradient crosses the outer mirrored ring and the transparent glass centre, transforming the work into a perceptual threshold between the reflected image and what lies beyond its surface.

At Palazzo Bracci, the two works remain autonomous, yet seem caught within the same gravitational field, where light becomes form and reflection opens into space.

A stark reminder of nature’s fragile beauty.

This work is a coffee table inspired by the majestic glaciers we are slowly losing due to climate change.
With its sturdy sculptural base and a distinctive point emerging from the functional flat surface, the design perfectly mimics a floating iceberg. It is a sleek, modern statement piece that brings both elegance and profound environmental awareness into your living space.

At Lart Universe / Palazzo Bracci, Montepulciano, two artistic visions meet in a dialogue between matter, light and perception. Costantino Gucci explores reflective materials and glass as tools to reshape space and the viewer’s gaze, while Jonathan Bocca transforms paper into organic, living forms. From this creative encounter comes SINGULARITIES, an immersive exhibition suspended between reality and reflection.

Till the end of July.
