Meet the team 👋🏽🏡😮‍💨

This is the HomeBliss Real Estate Team serving families throughout the Inland Empire and North County San Diego.

We may be a smaller team, but we are mighty.

We’re outgoing, competitive, relationship-driven, and at the end of the day, everything we do comes back to our clients.

We love helping buyers find the place they get to call home. We love helping sellers walk away with the strongest possible outcome. And when it comes time to negotiate, protect your interests, or fight for the best deal possible… we mean business.

But we also never forget that real estate is about people.

When you work with us, you’re not just another transaction or another number in the CRM. We want to know you, understand your goals, laugh with you, celebrate with you, and build a relationship that lasts long after the keys are handed over.

We’ll treat you like a friend while fighting for you like family.

That’s HomeBliss. ❤️

We’re grateful for every person who trusts us, and we’re excited to serve whoever is next.

Swipe through and meet the team 👉🏽

Hey, I’m Jonathan 👋🏽

Team Lead, head honcho, professional deal hunter… and the guy usually telling everyone, “We can get a better deal than that.” 😂

I’m a husband, father of five, dog dad to three, and a proud Marine veteran after serving about 10 years in the Marine Corps.

My faith is a huge part of who I am. I’m a devout Christian, and I truly try to lead my family, my team, and my business with faith, integrity, and purpose.

I absolutely love real estate, but my favorite part isn’t just helping someone find a house.

Finding a home is the easy part.

Helping someone find the RIGHT home while negotiating an incredible deal, getting closing costs covered, finding incentives, protecting their money, and making the numbers actually make sense?

That’s what I specialize in.

I’m competitive by nature, so when I represent someone, I’m always looking for the angle, the opportunity, and the deal that other people might miss.

At the same time, I never want this business to feel transactional. I love getting to know the families we work with, hearing their stories, celebrating the wins with them, and by @jonathanhsocal

After months of construction, Bradley Road is officially back open! 🎉

The new bridge over Salt Creek has also officially been renamed Freedom Bridge 🇺🇸 in honor of Menifee’s veteran and military community.

But the project solves a much bigger problem.

🌧️ Helps address historic flooding during storms
🚗 Provides more reliable north/south access on Bradley Road
🚒 Creates a more dependable route for first responders
🌊 Keeps motorists from having to travel through moving water during storm events
🇺🇸 Named in honor of veterans and military families

This has been one of the bigger infrastructure projects we’ve been following, and now it’s officially complete.

What do you think of the name Freedom Bridge? 🇺🇸 by @jonathanhsocal

California Officially Bans Child Marriage

California has officially banned child marriage after Governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1267 into law.

The new law sets 18 as the minimum age for marriage and domestic partnerships in California, with no exceptions.

It takes effect on January 1, 2027.

What changed

Previously, California did not have a strict minimum marriage age.

Minors could marry with parental consent and court approval.

The new law closes that loophole and makes California the 18th state to fully ban marriage under 18.

Why it matters

Advocates say the previous system left minors vulnerable to coercion, abuse, and predatory relationships.

Advocacy groups also argued that minors who entered these marriages often faced major legal and practical barriers when trying to leave.

According to state and advocacy reports, tens of thousands of marriages involving minors took place in California between 2000 and 2021, with most involving underage girls and adult men.

Big picture

Child marriage was still legal in California until this bill was signed, and it remains legal in many other states.

Supporters of the new law say it is a major step toward protecting children and closing legal loopholes that allowed minors to be married before adulthood.

Comment “CALIFORNIA” and I’ll keep you updated on more California law, housing, and community changes.

Being a homeowner is really just fixing things you already paid someone else to fix 😂

I had these permanent lights installed, realized they weren’t done the way I wanted, so of course I decided I could do it better myself.

Fast forward… now the lights are acting up and I’m back on the ladder trying to figure out what went wrong. 🤦‍♂️

At this point, it’s not even about saving money. It’s about proving to myself that I can fix it 😂

Would I recommend doing this yourself?

Absolutely not.

Am I still going to do it myself?

Absolutely. 😂 by @jonathanhsocal

Patrick and Samantha thought they were probably 3–6 months away from buying a home.

21 days later… they had the keys. 🔑🏡

Here’s how it happened.

I met Patrick and Samantha through Instagram. We started chatting in the DMs, and on September 9th, we jumped on a Zoom call to figure out exactly what they were looking for.

They told me they weren’t necessarily in a rush.

Their timeline was probably 3–6 months…

BUT if the right opportunity came up, they were ready to make a move.

And literally two days later, my phone went off.

One of my preferred partners texted me:

“Jonathan, we have a fire sale.”

A home had just been reduced by $64,000.

On top of that, they were offering a 30-year fixed rate as low as 4.99%, closing-cost incentives, a refrigerator, washer, dryer, blinds, and more.

All together, the opportunity was worth nearly $100,000 in savings and incentives.

There was only one catch…

We had about 48 hours to make it happen, and they needed to close before the end of the month.

The first people I thought of were Patrick and Samantha.

It was around 5:00 PM when I called them.

I told them, “I have an opportunity I haven’t seen in a long time. But if you want it, we need to go see it tonight.”

Within about 45 minutes, they met me at the house.

They walked through it.

They loved it.

The next day, we signed the contract.

And now, just 21 days later, Patrick and Samantha are officially homeowners before 30 years old and walked into their new home with over $100,000 in potential savings and incentives between the price reduction, financing incentives, closing costs, and included upgrades.

The crazy part?

Three weeks earlier, they thought they were months away.

Sometimes the right opportunity doesn’t give you six months to think about it.

Sometimes it shows up on a Friday afternoon and says…

Are you ready?

Congratulations Patrick & Samantha. 🏡❤️

If homeownership is something you’re thinking about whether it’s next month or six months from now send me “HOME” and let’s figure out what your options actually look like. by @jonathanhsocal

Freedom Bridge Opens Thursday in Menifee

Freedom Bridge at Bradley Road will officially open by 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 1.

The Bradley Road Bridge over Salt Creek Trail was recently renamed Freedom Bridge by the Menifee City Council, following a recommendation from the city’s Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee.

The name honors Menifee’s veteran and military community.

Why it matters

Freedom Bridge addresses the historic flooding that occurred during rain events along this area.

The bridge will provide more reliable north and south connectivity on Bradley Road and improve safety by eliminating the need for motorists to travel through moving water during storms.

It is also expected to help first responders move through the area faster when serving the Menifee community.

After ongoing work from the city and project team, the roadway is reopening with a safer and more reliable connection for residents.

Comment “MENIFEE” and I’ll send you more local road, development, and community updates.

This could be HUGE for qualifying disabled veteran homeowners in California. 🇺🇸🏠

Governor Newsom has signed SB 296, expanding California’s property tax exemption for eligible disabled veterans and qualifying unmarried surviving spouses.

Starting in 2027:

🇺🇸 50% exemption on up to $1 million of qualifying home value

🇺🇸 100% exemption on up to $1 million for qualifying lower-income households

🏠 Must be a qualifying principal residence

📅 Begins with lien dates starting January 1, 2027

📄 You’ll need to apply through your local county assessor and provide the required documentation.

Important: This doesn’t necessarily mean your entire property tax bill gets cut exactly in half. The exemption applies to qualifying assessed value, and individual circumstances can differ.

If you’re looking for a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home that could save you over $1,500 a month compared to buying brand new, check this out.

This home is priced at $635,000, and pretty much everything has already been updated.

You’ve got new flooring, remodeled bathrooms, fresh paint, and the best part is this attached ADU.

It’s a full one-bedroom, one-bathroom setup with its own living room, kitchenette, and separate side access.

Now here’s where the savings come in.

You could potentially rent this space out for around $1,200 a month.

And because this home isn’t brand new, you also don’t have those crazy Mello-Roos and higher tax rates that you’ll usually see in a lot of new construction.

That alone could save you another roughly $350 a month.

So between the potential rental income and the lower taxes, you’re looking at over $1,500 a month in savings compared to buying a brand-new home.

And you still get a four-bedroom, four-bathroom home for $635,000.

If you want the location or want to see this one in person, comment “Fitz” and I’ll send you the details. by @jonathanhsocal
