So...someone got ahold of some out takes with Julia. I would be upset...but she’s so gorgeous here, that it’s hard to be mad. This is totally unretouched... It came from the magazine...as I don’t have this frame in my archive. Shot in front of my favorite restaurant on the west side of NY. Florent, the owner, let us shoot there..just because! It was an amazing day...and I will always be grateful. .

My phone reached out to me this afternoon and told me I should post this photo of my friend Phillip.
I have no idea why, but I bet Siri knows. When I first returned to Los Angeles, I did some fun shoots in Los Angeles. I had the pleasure of shooting with @autumnivy_ She was was cool enough to jump into the fountain at Caesars Palace. There were so many people watching that I put my cap on the ground while shooting and made 10 bucks. 🤨 Autumn was a trooper, she made the shot. Gotta’ love Vegas. by @jonathanlennard

Shot on location in the mountains of Kerala. Travelled by jeep to 6000ft, the art team were covered in leeches. We actually designed and built this thing. With my dear pal, director of photography @mr_arnoldfernandes and India’ newest and greatest talent @roshoflove by @jonathanlennard

before the campaigns, before the covers… there were shoots like this.
I was lucky to start working almost right away, but every model still has to build a book😅
Those early days were full of learning, waiting, and figuring things out. It wasn’t always easy, but giving up never crossed my mind. Growing up in communist Czechoslovakia, I never imagined opportunities like this would even exist. I was simply grateful for the chance.
Looking back, I realize that the difficult moments weren’t obstacles—they were part of the journey. Funny how one simple test shoot can end up being the beginning of everything. A reminder that every career begins with taking a chance 🤍”

Než přišly kampaně a focení pro titulní stránky časopisů, byla tu zkušební focení jako tohle.
Měla jsem štěstí, že jsem začala pracovat skoro hned. Ale i tak si každá modelka musí na začátku vybudovat portfolio😅
Ty začátky byly hlavně o učení, čekání a sbírání zkušeností. Nebylo to vždycky jednoduché, ale vzdát se mě nikdy ani nenapadlo. Byla jsem vděčná za každou příležitost, která přišla.
Když se dnes dívám na tuhle fotku, uvědomuju si, že právě ty nejtěžší chvíle mě naučily nejvíc. Nebyly překážkou, ale součástí cesty.
Připomínka, že každá kariéra/cesta začíná šancí, kterou člověk dostane – a využije🤍
