Autumn has started. Grass is turning orange, and trees are getting golden soon 🥹

Glaciers are leaving us. Pretty soon the alpine landscape is going to be all grey, and for our kids it might just be normal to hike into the mountains and run into these huge stone deserts instead. Will people still find that beautiful? Is a mountain world without glaciers still aesthetic? Will there even be postcards of it anymore?

It’s honestly kind of shocking, you can practically stand there and watch the glaciers melt. Places where huts used to be built right up against the glacier now have these long, rocky approaches, or sometimes there’s no way to even reach the hut anymore.

I’m trying to build up a little memory library here, so we can show our kids pictures of it, in case they never get to see it themselves. taken in Swiss Alps by @jonathanmitth

My collection of August 📸

First two weeks well spent in Tenerife and La Gomera catching some sunlight after Norway and Sweden. Then third week back to work shooting some projects in Lucerne and Zurich and last week on a filmset as Set Photographer 🎬

Pretty excited for September now - goal is to spend as much time in the Swiss Alps as possible because summer’s not over yet!! 🙂‍↕️ taken in Switzerland by @jonathanmitth

Backpacking season in Norway 🇳🇴

Right before I left, I quickly stopped at the camera store and bought a new camera which fits perfectly into my backpacks shoulder strap so I had free hands while hiking but also fast access to capture some moods and moments.
