Oy what a year. Another bright light has gone out. My most precious and loving Grammy couldn’t be without Poppa for too long. Always my biggest fan. Always ready with a hot take. Always the most loving and generous grandparent. This incredible woman has inspired me and taught me to be a stronger, kinder, more giving person. How lucky she got to know her GREAT grandchildren who already display some of her fierce spirit. I love you and I miss you already. Give Poppa a hug and a kiss for me. by @jonathanrandellsilver

They don’t make them like they used to.
The world lost a bright light this week. My Poppa Sandy was the kindest most joyous man and that joy and humor was infectious. Those who met him felt it instantly.
99 years is no joke and he made every moment count.
He was the true definition of a mensch. A role model. A WWII veteran. A gem. A gift to this world.
I will forever be grateful to my grandpa and I will always love him deeply. by @jonathanrandellsilver
