April is sexual assault awareness month.

Every day people have to live with the stories that may never get justice, but will always come to light. This photo was taken at Warinanco Park in Roselle, NJ. We enjoyed our time together spreading awareness, love and capturing art in the process. The poem I wrote was in honor of this experience. To emphasize how nobody is alone in their experiences of sexual assault. Coming together to share the things that made us stronger despite the pain allows us to see the path to better days.

Eliminating Fear

By: Jonay Rose

I am in the process of rediscovering my voice and eliminating the fear behind not being heard. Know yourself and be true to yourself. Chase the things that set your heart ablaze no matter the water that tries to put it out. You are one of one.

Unfurgettable 🎞️

A short film I shot for my film course. A tired Christopher comes home late from work after a heavy day to his warm, cuddly fur baby. Mimzy greets him and carries the weight of the day while making Christopher full of love and free of stress. Home is where family is. 🩶

A captivating read of a dystopian society where time no longer exists. The world is cured. Artificial intelligence takes care of all the world's problems except for death.
Who will control the population? How will the next generation take on the role of a Scythe? Will the two red string crossed lovers make it out of their apprenticeship alive? Dig into the unknown with a Scythe to find out.
