show you how to stunt | 🦀 season

Long time no see — what did I miss? Officially platinum and beyond blessed. Thank you to my coaches for trusting me week after week and giving me the opportunity to be the feature twirler for 10/12 of our performances as a freshman. Nothing prepares you for the minute you wait to perform with the head drum major right in front of you and the motion captain right behind you — a wave of shock, excitement, gratitude, and anxiousness all in one.

Being away from my family, I found myself rethinking my decision to move so far — homesick, thinking about giving up — but my family is my biggest cheerleader so my push to perform and grow was all for them.

Let it be known: I couldn’t and WOULDN’T have made it through this season without my sisters — my rocks — the QUEEN CRABS. If nobody understands me, I know they do. When I’m down, either they’re right there with me and we get up together, or they tell me about myself and get me on my feet again. These are my 4lifers — they’re stuck with me foreverrrrr!! Truly us over everybody.

Above all, thank you God!

With that being saiddddd… hats off to the Ocean, Motion, Ocean Waves — most certainly my precioussss Platinum — everybody did that!!
