Tonight was @mcraestrongfitness first game of magic! And well the scoreboard says how that went 😂. Got absolutely decimated I did haha. Was an absolutely amazing time though! #mtg by @joncorky
After talking to @mcraestrongfitness she gave me some advice I gave awhile ago. If I approach a workout with an already doubtful and negative mindset then that’s what I’m setting myself up for. I have been battling this back since April. I’ve forgotten how to deadlift and all I can think of is will this be what takes my back again. The spark and fire were gone and long gone…..I had thought. With alot of gratitude for being able to lift and do the things I can and some stubbornness this body will turn around. Might as well be strong for something I guess Anyway. Here’s proof of life Team: @the_stronger_together Support @cerberus_strength_usa Salts: @pegasussmellingsalts Code: Corky Mental Health: @cerebral_wellbeing #liftweights #suckless #strongman #training #ouch by @joncorky
Proof of life @mcraestrongfitness has a stone that nobody knows the weight of. It’s a 20” and a big heavy bastard. Still able to lift big rocks so I’m happy. Was it ugly? Of course. But I didn’t poop. So a wins a win. Also had to hit this because all the @80kgstrongman chatters were talking shit about my CDB 😂 #strongman #training #suckless #mentality #stones by @joncorky
I will continue to die on the hill that Strongman is way more applicable to daily life than CrossFit ever will be. Last time I checked 25 Burpees didn’t give me the know how to move a washer and a dryer into a house. Strongman is truly varied movement. Little Rep Pr, technically actual squat PR because these weights are heavier so it’s more like 410. For years! Honestly about a decade I’ve been stuck with a 405 squat. Overall just every time 4 plates hits the rack and put it on my back I’m immediately checked out. Couple that with blowing my back out chasing something astronomical and bad knees because my anatomy hates high bar squats. Switched to low bar, no more knee pain And went in today with a goal in mind. Recovery is more mental than physical and I’ll always preach that. So today was a great win and I was over the moon for it. Hard to fail with the woman @mcraestrongfitness behind me every step of the way! Sucked a bit less today I did 😬😉 Team/Queen: @mcraestrongfitness Support @cerberus_strength_usa Salts: @pegasussmellingsalts Code: Corky Queen/Nutrition: @mcraestrongfitness Supplements: @nutrexresearch Code: Corky Mental Health: @cerebral_wellbeing #teamsuckless #suckless #worldsstrongestLWcouple #strongman #mentality by @joncorky

Haven’t ran in months and decided to go out and see where my baseline was at, considering I have a 15min time cap. And people say running is hard, I’m by no means a “runner” but I can muscle through damn near everything. If you build enough of a gas tank through training and having even the slightest mental fortitude, you too can be an average runner. Don’t @ me about the 5th lap as I recorded just talking to myself with no time stamp. Anyways, enjoy the POV and don’t eat Chili and smash to Reigns before your run. #Strongman #running #suckless #fitness #motivation by @joncorky
Welp, I wouldn’t call it a come back But today was a good day Had some massive support from @mcraestrongfitness and @columhanlon for today’s tugging. 545 is a pretty solid baseline considering everything. Recovery is more mental than physical for me always, but looks like we’re on the up and up.
