Our gorgeous drive yesterday thru Colorado up to Boulder.We stayed with Grayson, had a great dinner and a good night’s sleep. And today we are off to Philadelphia for our niece’s graduation. Chilly weather up there… but we are prepared!Happy Memorial Day Weekend! by @jonehallmark

FORTY years ago!!!!!We were married on Saturday May 10, 1986….. and Mother’s Day was the next Day.This year, as happens on occasion, these days come together.So, here’s to forty years together and still finding laughter and lots of love and respect each day…And to our moms… forty years ago…CeLeBRaTiNg our marriage❤️This year they both will celebrate 94 years thru life…. 🌟AMaZiNG🌟We are so grateful for each day we can talk to them and share thoughts and joys and laughter❤️🩷💕….Hope ALL mothers of 2-legged and 4-legged children are enjoying this day….. ❌⭕️❌⭕️❌⭕️ by @jonehallmark

Painting wings for new bluebirds.I have had sketches for ages.. but only started really moving on it a few weeks ago. Then I was flipping thru my IG feed and there it was ……… inspiration!I have followed @mudgardenstudio for quite a while …..her work always makes me smile. Lovely simplicity in her style…both her clay forms AND her colors.I was lucky there was still one of these candle holding birds..and it now lives on my mantle.That is what it took! I sat down and began painting wings. Easter 2026 was lovely, and now it’s time to pack up all my hand painted eggs collected through the years, little works of art. For many years at Easter, our mother gave my sister and I each a beautiful porcelain egg hand painted by her friend, Peggy. The three real eggs in the little nest were painted by @jonehallmark, a young Austin artist at the time. The eggs in silver baskets on the tray were exquisitely painted by my friend Nancy Robinson. My work space last night…..Had hoped to get to bed early, but found my rhythm around 8:30, so kept going a bit.Waking up to teenies ready to “earn”their wings… and the lilacs and redbud branches on the kitchen table started things off with a smile today.Hope you find one, too🌸🌿🌼 by @jonehallmark
