Had a time last night celebrating my Sis Renika and all of her success with Warner Bros. and MAX. I am grateful for friends-like-family who inspire me daily in the pursuit of their goals and dreams. We talk a lot about how our route in/through this industry often feels like the ‘scenic’ one (long and daunting, in this seemingly instant world we now live in), but as we get older we realize and appreciate Gods Plan more and more. Renika is someone who truly puts God first in all that she does and it is a blessing to see how she continues to be blessed and elevated by just that!

| November 9, 1926 - June 11, 2024. | 🕊️

What a life you’ve lived, my dearly beloved Great Grandmother.

My heart is broken but I am so blessed that you have lived to witness 30 years of my life before your final exit.

As I reflect on your life, I can say that I am most grateful for you being my true and first Shepherd in Christ. You instilled a prayer life within me when I was just a little boy, teaching me The Lords Prayer alongside my numbers and abcs during my most fundamental years, and encouraged me to always invite God The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit with me wherever I go. You were the one, whenever I came to you with worries, who always, and I mean always, responded with your famous “Pray and ask The Lord to…”.

I laugh now because when I was younger there were times I would ask myself “Will she ever give me some ‘real’ advice?”, I grew to learn that that was indeed the realest advice you could give, and I knew this because I’ve always seen God come through for you and yours from the strength of your prayers, and your unwavering faith alone. Always!!!

You have been an incredibly honorable Matriach of our family for 16 years!!!! And your legacy will live on.

I thank God for sending you to and for us, he knew we needed you. He also knew when to take you back where you belong as you’ve completed your mission with such grace, love, and humility.

Worthy Thirty.

I am thankful to reach this milestone alive and well.
I’ve come very far within my last decade, yet and still I can see so much more further ahead of me in this new one.
