The Big Bang has blown the doors off the City- deregulation, obscene money, and amoral excess. In the maelstrom we find Scilla Todd: trader, sister, amateur detective, hell-bent on finding out who killed her brother. It's likely it was something to do with the American takeover of the company Albion... Caryl Churchill's 1000mph satire in rhyming couplets collides with clowning, commedia dell'arte and over 40 characters in a wild, wheeling production from Mad Spirit Productions written in high-speed, jargon-laced, profanity-scattered rhyming couplets, and interspersed with musical numbers.

I can now reveal I'll be playing a host of bizarre and grotesque characters in 'Caryl Churchill's play 'SERIOUS MONEY' a satirical study of the effects of the ‘Big Bang’ (the deregulation of the financial markets in 1986), written in high-speed, jargon-laced, profanity-scattered rhyming couplets, and interspersed with musical numbers.
