we went swimming at Immuki Island 🏝️ definitely worth visiting if you're into the quiet, serene vibe; or if you're done with the harsh waves of san juan la union

just be sure to wear aqua shoes cos the rocks are very sharp! there are also cottages and stores in the area for snacks and souvenirs. you can also book snorkeling sessions, kayak rentals, and even a tour of the surrounding areas

a highlight of 2025: surprising our parents with a vow renewal and celebration for their 30th anniversary 💖💍👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

when i was younger, my mom would mention (multiple times) wanting to do a vow renewal for their 25th or 30th anniversary. but with us getting older and plans changing (or maybe they just didn't want to plan for an event anymore), they didn't mention it again—but i never forgot about it.
so with the help of my brothers (@ivan.del_valle @j0nj1ms), we planned a surprise vow renewal instead. basically so our parents can't say no anymore, nor will they be stressed out with all the planning. 😂
we found an event space, asked our friends and family to celebrate with us, and kept it all a secret until the day. 👩‍❤️‍👨
we figured, they can only celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary once. might as well make it memorable. ✨

their marriage is definitely the greatest example i could ever have for a Christ-centered marriage and relationship. when i share the story of my own marriage and relationship, people are always shocked that i married my first boyfriend; that i dated to marry; and that my first kiss was on our wedding day. well, i learned all that from my parents—our best role models.
