Hi, it’s your new “award winning” comedian (just not awarded for her comedy) Jonjon Tolovae & here’s my 2026 @nzcomedyfestival in a Nutshell! … Nut? 💦

After 3 sold out nights, 1 extra added show, 60ish self sewn dicks, 4 razoos, 12 people taunted on stage, 1 large self sewn penis, a faulty sewing machine, 1 weathered feather boa, 1 really good live song & a questionable amount of @bestfoodsnz Mayo my debut show “Man, I feel like a woman” at this years NZ international comedy festival well … kinda ate!

What at times felt like Sir Edmund Hillary’s feat on Mt. Everest quickly became such a fkn euphoric joy in my body, getting to laugh with so many people across this year’s festival! & to meet so many new people too was so fkn fab. The comedy scene in Aotearoa is alive & well & am so glad to be apart of this niu wave coming through!!!

Thank you to the festival for having me, but especially to I guess maybe I could call you my comedy mom? @janayeh & then my festival daddy @tapestrytapes__ for vouching for me & my absurd obsession with giving out consensual car park hand jobs 🫶🏽 ahhhh no seriously, I’m grateful that you both said let’s do it & we did!!! how do I get into the next one? 🤣😅

Massive alofa to those who’ve had to endure my funny bone for a long time till we arrived to this point, my darling friends for laughing when I was dry - thanks 🥰

To the brownies who are killing it & inspiring me thankyou! your words of encouragement have meant so much @joe.daymond for having me in the mixtape!!! WTF 😭🫶🏽 let me know if you ever leave your girlfriend (DONT! She’s incredible, you are so lucky x)

To my family, thank God for the trauma LOL special shout out to my big brother @sammysalsastyle for sponsoring our show 🫂

Lastly, to my superwoman producer @reneewikitoria this couldn’t be anything without you by my side! You held & reminded me of my worth & beauty in this industry, I appreciate you so much - thank you for my anal plug, I haven’t taken it out since closing night x

Lmao this wasn’t supposed to be this long, but I’m finally getting to rest & will be hibernating for a considerable amount of time. Will be back to being funny soon! x by @jonjon.tt
