New release “Leaving You Behind” out now! This song came from my last session in Nashville a week before I moved to LA and it’s one of my favorites I’ve worked on to date! We started with the bass line then will added a vocal hook that set the vibe for the whole song. I had just gotten harmony engine and was putting that on everyone’s vocals at the time and it added a nice texture underneath his voice on the choruses that we liked. I love making music with Will and I hope you all enjoy it as well. Give it a listen and let us know what you think!

Last night was a beautiful celebration of love and music with my best friend. I have been dating Laci for almost 11 years and @danlayus was the soundtrack of our first few years of falling in love. Getting to see him live last night was a true treasure. We laughed, we cried, and we remembered what brought us together in the first place. Thank you Dan for writing amazing songs and inspiring me to try and do the same ♥️ by @jonmatteson

Loved producing, mixing, and mastering this song for Reuben. This is the first production I’ve taken start to finish and played all of the instruments on and I’m really proud of it! Give it a listen and let me know what you think 🙏🏼 taken in Los Angeles, California by @jonmatteson

New song out today with @reubenbidez! I’ve known Reuben for 10 years now and it was such a pleasure writing and producing this with him. This was the product of my first real co-write and I am so proud of how it turned out! Thank you Reuben for taking a risk on a new songwriter and producer. Also a huge thank you to @christianpaschall for the slammin mix! It would mean the world to me if you would check our song “Birdies” and let me know what you think! 🕊🕊 by @jonmatteson

Big milestone for me today!

Last August I decided to focus my creative energy on producing and songwriting and this is the first official release that I have my name on!

Thank you @gabbyorr and @dannygofficial1 for letting me be a part of this one. Big shoutout to @philbarnesmusic for taking a risk on me and bringing me in. I’ve learned so much from you and am thankful for your friendship!

I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and have much more to come this year! taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @jonmatteson
