This past weekend showed me what was possible when you dedicate yourself to the craft. I trained hard for the Leona Divide 100 Miler. I took what I learned from past races - the mistakes, injuries, strategies - and turned them into a better performance than I’ve ever had.

Three years ago I ran my first ultra. I DNFd at mile 46 of 50. Looking back now, it’s clear why - I did everything wrong. But instead of using that as an excuse to exit the arena, I locked back in and kept rolling. Kept pursuing a sport that I loved.

And now we’re here. Leading the pack.

It’s crazy. But it goes to show that anyone is welcome to chase their dreams. With persistent dedication, anything is possible. Actually, everything is possible.

So if you’re a dreamer, keep dreaming. Put in the work. The results will be forced to follow.

Thank you to my crew, pacers, and the guy in second place who kept a fire under my ass for 92 miles. Thank you to KH races for putting on an awesome race.
