Well, to say 2026 is a complete kook is an understatement. What can I say about my cousin @burningjoe that hasn’t already been said? There really isn’t much, he was kind, caring, strong, supportive and most of all loving. He loved all of this and he loved all of us. So I’ll leave you with the story of us realizing we are cousins in an AV sorta way.

I’ve know Joe as long as I can remember and obviously moving to Ventura cemented our friendship but it was about 10 years later when my sister @leeannshimer was out here from the east coast helping her moms side of the family with her grandparents passing. She was out here for a few months and one of those days she told me her cousin was taking her to the baseball game as a way to get away from the heaviness she was dealing with,
and who was that cousin? It was fucking joe!! Like my good buddy for years and year and brother in @numbskullshows Joe! I couldn’t believe it. From then on till the last time I saw him it was “hey cuz!”

I’m so fucking heartbroken and I’m not really ok. I am so sick of this happening and I can’t believe he is gone. This shit doesn’t get easier and I can’t implore everyone enough to live and love fiercely and to keep the pma.

God damnit Joe I fucking love you and please look over us with that beautiful spirit and smile. I love you cuz!! by @jonnumbskull

I am lucky enough to call @jonsea my brother! Last night we held a celebration that is still hard to process. So many people getting back together and so many people coming together to celebrate all he has done for us. Much love and safe travels home to all who came. Let’s do it again next year. by @jonnumbskull
