The earth ceases to amaze me. We walked away deeply enriched, renewed and with a warm reminder: when you go into nature, the noise of life begins to settle, and the signal of your own spirit emerges.

Nature is the best tool for personal development, next to love 💕

If you want to grow, deepen introspection, or you want clarity on relationships and decision making, spend more time outside.

I believe one of life’s deepest sorrows is never knowing the joy of being at home with yourself.

Too many people live with an inner voice that is harsh, critical, and severely unkind—speaking to themselves in ways they would never speak to a friend or stranger.

Learning to love ourselves is one of the best things we can do for humanity. It changes how we move through the world and how we show up for others.

We must remember the loneliness of not knowing how to offer ourselves compassion: the quiet moments when no one else hears the words we use against ourselves.

When we devote ourselves to the practice of self compassion and forgiveness, our thoughts, words, and actions become a small but real beacon for those still searching for a flicker of light in their darkness—proof that another existence is possible.

This photo stood out to me because when I saw it later on, I realized how far I had travelled in cultivating compassion for myself.

Change is not just possible, it is inevitable when you realize you want it.

Spending time outside is to the activity of the mind as sleep is to the activity of the day. This trip was a one of growth, depth, connection, and of course, speed 🤩🚲 🏔️

A new home away from home. See you next week 😉

When we communicate others that we see their possibility and their value verbally or non-verbally, they two begin to see their possibility and their value.

Low personal belief + low purpose belief = won’t start
Low personal belief + high purpose belief = won’t finish
High personal belief + low purpose belief = won’t achieve
High personal belief + high purpose belief = will succeed

Ask anyone who has achieved something worthwhile. They will all say it couldn't have happened without other people's input, coaching, competition, or challenge.

The first time we do something, the first 100 times we do something, we are not 'good' by societal standards. But we are better than we were the day before.

Receiving feedback, and seeking it out, is a surefire way to succeed longterm.

When we begin to think of our life as a song, we can appreciate the nuances of happiness and joy with unhappiness and sorrow. We don’t spend too long anywhere because the music keep playing.

Are you loving your song?

I would actually love to hear from you. But not in words.

I CHALLENGE YOU to post a short video of a time when you had to outgrow the room, team, or group you were in and how it transformed your life. Tag me and I will respond!

@johncmaxwell is a communication magician. 'nuf said.

Which level are you at work?
Which level are you at home?
Which level are you with your friends?
Which level are you with a stranger?

It matters because your words ripple out far beyond your mouth. Our thoughts only create the world if we choose to share them.
