Also many thanks to @kiernanshipka @krystenritter @kiefersutherland @jamiejchung @karenfukuhara @mishelprada @gabbymaiden @spensergranese @adamelsharkawy1 and all the rest of the cast for making this film shine!
So many on the crew to thank as well - what an incredible experience!

So excited to present the official trailer for my short film ‘77!

It’s bittersweet though as I won’t be able to attend @screamfestla this year. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am.

Hurricane Milton is forming in the Gulf of Mexico as I write this and it looks to be extremely powerful and heading right for where we live here in SW Florida.

I need to be here for my wife and kids and help out in the aftermath of whatever craziness this storm brings.

I’m so sorry, I was really looking forward to meeting some of you there. Ugh.

In any event I’d like to again thank all the incredible people that helped to make this short film possible. It was truly an honor to watch them do what they do best and help bring the vision to life!

And many, many more.

Thank you all.

I will put this up on YouTube soon so you don’t have to watch it so tiny.

Enjoy.

And if you’re in LA and want to see ‘77 on the big screen it’s playing at @screamfestla in “short block 2” Saturday Oct 12, at 4:30 pm at TLC Chinese 6 Theaters, T3

@screamfestla runs from October 8-17th this year and if you’re a horror fan like me, there’s some really great stuff playing. I’m so sorry to miss it. 😢

After many years of nose to the proverbial grindstone with @sophhreshh and @julia_s_roth , thrilled to partner with Vertical to see Stone Cold Fox released domestically! Thanks to @ebfleisch and @bobjoe at Wonder Co and special thanks to Stephen Braun @bee_hive_productions_llc_ for making it all happen!
Big shoutouts to @kiernanshipka @kiefersutherland @krystenritter @mishelprada @karenfukuhara @jamiejchung @gabbymaiden @spensergranese for their amazing performances. Dream cast to be sure.
Also big shout out to @lorenzaizzo for being our shadow producer and inspiration!
@kenseng was our brilliant DP and was also a tireless advocate for Sophie’s vision - we’re so lucky to have had him on board - the film looks incredible.
Finally, we shot this film in LOS ANGELES y’all. Shout out to everyone who worked so hard to make this years-in-the-making indie project happen on set. Nothing like LA crews! #madinlosangeles #independantfilm #neversaynever by @jonnycrave

I'm happy to announce that my short film '77 has been selected by @panicfilmfest! If you are attending the festival it will air tomorrow Friday, March 28th in "Short Block #1" with 8 other short films starting at 3:30pm. (sorry for the short notice I just found out today)

Also, if you want to stream the film and can't wait for me to upload it (still a month or two away) panicfest will be streaming the films from short block #1 Starting tomorrow Friday, March 28th at 6pm and it will run through Sunday, April 6th until 11:59pm.

The cost to stream is approx $18 US, there are 8 other short horror films in the package you will also get for that price.

The film makers don't make anything from that it's just to support the cost of the festival AFAIK.

So check it out if you're so inclined. A lot of talented people worked really hard on this and I'm very proud of what we were able to accomplish.

Here is a link to sign up for the streaming if you are not attending the festival.

Official @screamfestla poster! By the incredible @creepyduckdesign

There are some alternate posters I played around with as well. Some cool 1979’s inspired shots from the film and the “red” series.

Do you have a favorite?

My short horror film 77 will be making its LA premier at @screamfestla on Saturday October 12 at 4:30pm. Hope to see you all there!
