WOW 10 years ago today we moved to Beacon after 17 years in NYC💖
I thought I’d live in the city forever but the place I’d dreamed of & worked to get to my whole childhood had changed so much & become ridiculously expensive and once we moved from my beloved East Village to desolate Bushwick in 2008 I started dreaming of a different life. I fell in love with Beacon instantly when we visited the weekend of Strawberry Fest 2013 & after a year of searching we found our perfect lil house & I started PSV in Spring of 2015. Beacon has changed so much in the last decade some better some worse but I love how committed to Art & Music & Community we are here and I’m so grateful for all the amazing people we’ve met. Cheers to new friends & old here’s hoping for 10 more years!

Endless thanks to @lorimerhige for being our gateway to & guide in Beacon and to @firstmatekate for helping us move 🌞

1st pic is GinGin & KiiKii seeing Beacon birds for the 1st time & the excitement on their faces is palpable

2nd pic is my niece in front of the artwork that used to be in the greenhouse on the roof at the old High School (Kube)

3rd pic is the foot of snow we had in Feb 2015 back when it snowed all winter taken in Beacon, NY by @jonnydex
