The Native Film community has lost one of its most talented, STRONG, funny and loving human beings. I met Georgy very early in my career. I was lucky enough to work with her and her son Cody. She was so funny with her twisted sense of humor that matched mine. And she wouldn't take crap from anyone. She was tiny but walked like a giant. It would be years between our meeting but we would pick up right where we left off. Sometimes trading odd looks to make the other laugh from across the set. Thank you Georgina for being the Force you were. We are all better because we got to experience you.
My prayers go out to the Lightning family, friends and community. She is simply irreplaceable, one of kind, warrior, sweet, funny, talented and Mom.

Today marks one year and six months since you left us. The greatest warrior of Clan Proudstar. I cannot put into words how much I miss you. My life is a shadow of what it once was. I say your name every day and kiss your picture before I leave my house. I miss playing video games with you. Having conversations about Aliens and UFO's I am so proud to have been your Tata Xavi Goodman. I would trade everything to hear you say "Best Tata ever" just one more time. Grief doesn't become easier it just becomes more familiar.
